One more thing:
Be watching for Auburn’s Cameron Newton in the running for the Heisman Trophy.
Yes. He is that good.
(And, an aside to any other school in the state, if he wins, he will be Auburn’s THIRD Heisman winner.)

So sorry IG. Hang in there. In saying that, I almost feel as if I am saying “One more push” to someone in labor. I can say it, but you are the one feeling it. Prayers!

I mean, I get (teSHEERa); it's elegant, in fact. And I even get (canOH) even thouh there's no accent at the end.But (waulkeen benWAH)??? (benWAHR)? Or worse yet, (benWAHLLL)???
Why was (benOYT) good enough for Joan from the Olympics and the eponymous college? An why isn't it (DEtwah), and (illinWAH)/(illinWAHR)/(illinWAHL)??? (And what about (pino NWAH/NWAHR/NWAHL), and for those literalists, (film NOYER???) And not to mention, 'Chateaubriand? For two? But I don't like red wine!' Sheesh.)
It's a good thing I was taught phonics, otherwise, I wouldn't have any idea what you were talking about. :)

I have a hunch voter fraud will be widespread and at a peak this year - getting a wink and a nod from justice.
Have the Dems mastered the art of absentee ballots in Iowa?
I fully expect Reid to utilize the vast numbers of undocumented Democrats in the Nevada vote (aliens, nursing homes, felons). Probably need about 5 points more to counter that.
Illinois, as well....not sure about Colorado.

The Dems have truely refined the art of absentee voting right here in my district. It’s an uphill battle to overcome their trix.

Predictions for the number of seats going “R” are all over the map. Right now I’m devising the following color scheme and reserve the right to tweak it.
Over 75 seats - color RED - BLOODBATH! AND MANDATE!
50-75 seats — color GREEN—GOOD START, MORE WORK TO BE DONE
39-50 seats — color BLUE —WE NEED TO WORK A LOT HARDER
<39 seats — color WHITE - SURRENDER, WE’RE DONE FOR.
Good morning everybody.

Heh! Yep!
As for the senate....(long pause)....we need three of the final four. I am hoping NV and WA switch for the R’s.
I’m much more concerned about CA and IL. We may end up with 50/50 or even less in the R column.
Hope I’m wrong and we pick up at least 3.

I hear you about being over-optimistic.
But...
- Given that this year is said to be bigger than '94, and
- It is being reported that 25% of Democrats think Bush policies would work better now, and
- Nobama's official approval is at 47 while Bush's approval has now risen to 45 (down for Nobama's from 70 a year ago, up for Bush from 37-ish), and
- If the mechanics of the electorate are about the same as '94 then...
* In '94 the GOP was up 6.7% and won 53 seats (that comes out to about 7.91 gained seats per percentage point)
* Today the GOP is up generically by 10% and extrapolating that should be about 80 seats gained
* Among likely voters the GOP is up 13%, possible gain of about 103
* And if voter turnout is light (which means the Dems are demoralized), the GOP is up by 18%, with a possible gain of about 142!!!
It looks to me like toe-sucker Dick Morris, who actually knows this stuff, is using this formula (using the likely voter number of 13%) to get to his 100 seat gain prediction.
I could be wrong, but if not, you heard it here first...;-))
