I don’t scrutinize closely everything I post. I think even some hoaxes help display the variety and complexity of the field.

Who knows what comes out of Russia with whatever kind of accuracy.

Some things folks have cried hoax about for years have proven to be true as depicted. Other things folks have accepted as true for years have turned out to be hoaxed.

There’s tons of disinformation, smoke, mirrors and complexity.

I post things that are interesting, recommended, etc. Interesting can mean from a variety of viewpoints on a variety of variables.

By all means scroll on by if something doesn’t meet your criteria as worth the bother.

Sometimes I recall such things and sometimes I don’t.

Catering obsessively to RC sensibilities of an ironic nature is not one of my high priorities.

I will try to remember that some RC’s are seemingly incapable of a thoughtful civil response to some Proddys.

Coming in late here: If it makes it easier for the “naysayers”, I’m a selective UFO believer/skeptic, depending on the case (only because I’ve seen some things myself), but my jaw still dropped when this info came out about the missile shutdowns.

With three very strange headlines in a week, the question is: are we in an ongoing period of incremental disclosure, or a temporary phase of unsettling revelations?

If it’s disclosure, we can look for more signs to prepare the public. A global, concerted effort to disclose would almost have to have a public pre-conditioning phase, of info spoon fed to avoid panic.

If more disclosure occurs, I hope that people will broaden their perspectives, become less judgmental and dismissive, and try to be inclusive of the findings in their beliefs. A broader interpretation doesn’t have to negate faith.

Of course, all UFO’s do not fall under one description. Here’s something I saw in 2002 which I have no idea what it was… hopefully someone can please explain or debunk it for me:

I was in a high-rise at nighttime on the water, overlooking the Baltimore harbor, with the downtown on the other side of the harbor from me.

A luminous green light, narrow, long, (a green glowing light with a trail) dropped from the sky to just below my window. It was maybe a couple feet across, maybe 6-8 ft. long. I assumed it was a falling star/meteor, which can burn out in different colors.

It swooped down and flew out across the harbor, just above the water; then flew UP over the tall buildings downtown and disappeared in the sky behind them. The time it took to travel the length of the harbor and pass the downtown was about 3-4 seconds… faster than anything imaginable.The light also was moving and vibrating, like a wiggling snake.

I relate this story because it is so subtle; no giant ship, aliens, etc.

Any takers? I’m putting my head on the chopping block here, but I’d really rather it be explained (and be proven an idiot) than never know what it was.

My thoughts since are that if these phenomenon fall under the category of “technology”, perhaps the technology has become more stealthy/ less detectable over time. And I make no assumptions about the cause/source of these things. (end of tedious post)

Thanks for your brave example and case report.

There have been thousands of special light cases similar. I don’t recall one exactly like that.

There was even one case of a square light from a craft engulfing a person, IIRC. He could stick his hand ouside the square column of light as though the light were almost tangible and did not go beyond it’s square boundaries.

I’m just reminded of the “angels of light” warnings in Scripture.

This is not a sphere of the phenomena which I have spent a lot of time studying. I hope others speak up if they’ve had similar experiences.

Thanks, Quix. Not trying to make too much of it, although I do consider it an “unidentified flying object” with no rational explanation I know of.

It did exhibit awareness of its surroundings by flying low over the pitch black water at night time, and to physically veer up high over 20+story buildings.

My only point being, there’s a lot out there that we do not understand, and it apparently comes in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

Gobekli Tepe: 12,000 Years Old and Rewriting Human History

12,000-year-old circles of limestone columns weighing from 7 to 15 tons or more
have been excavated in Gobekli Tepe, Turkey, about 6 miles northeast of Urfa.
Older than Egypt, Sumeria and Stonehenge, 40 standing T-shaped columns have so far been
uncovered in four circles 98 feet (30 meters) in diameter. To date, no metal tools
have been found since meticulous digging and dating began in 1994. Only 5% of the temple

October 1, 2010 Saugerties, New York - In the 1980s, it was discovered that the Egyptian sphinx had evidence of weather erosion dating back to around 2500 B. C., or nearly five thousand years ago. French Egyptian scholar R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz asserted the weathering was caused by water during transition from the last ice age, perhaps even as long ago as 10,000 B. C., or 12,000 years ago. The water erosion possibility caught the attention of Egyptologist John Anthony West, author of the 1993 book, Serpent in the Sky: The High Wisdom of Ancient Egypt.

Ground-penetrating radar surveys indicate there might be at least 250 more standing stones in eighteen still-buried circles. Finely honed reliefs and some 3-dimensional sculptures on the limestone columns depict boars, foxes, lions, birds, snakes, scorpions, vultures, reptiles, humans and other odd figures and symbols. German archaeologist Schmidt says he has no idea what the reliefs and 3-dimensional carvings mean. And to date, no metal tools have been found since the meticulous digging and dating began in 1994. Today, only 5% of the temple complex of repeating stone circles has been uncovered.

Adding to the mystery of who built Gobekli Tepe? And why? is the revelation that 10,800 years ago, the entire Gobekli site was buried. How long would that have taken? Did the makers have knowledge of impending danger? The effort needed to erect the many large stone circles 12,000 years ago and then fifteen hundred years later have the entire temple site buried is incomprehensible.

But whether or not we ever learn who built Gobekli Tepe and why, the carbon dating at 12,000 years ago gives new life to the theory of John Anthony West and geologist Dr. Robert Schoch that the Egyptian sphinx is at least that old as well. In May 2010, John Anthony West and Robert Schoch traveled to Gobekli Tepe to see for themselves the extraordinary temple site in southeastern Turkey that John says is the smoking gun after their twenty years of trying to show that the water erosion on the Sphinx means that stone sculpture is much older than originally thought.

What they (Schmidt) have found so far are four closely packed stone circles rather like Stonehenges. These consist of two central pillars – massive central pillars between 10 and 15 tons each – surrounded within a set of two concentric circles of smaller pillars. And the pillars themselves – 10 to 15 tons – you know, without equipment, this is a pretty big chunk of stone to bring up the hill. The quarry was half a mile away down hill to get them there. And then, even more amazing than that are the carvings, which are – they look a bit Mayan and almost Easter Islandy and a bit Egyptian – pre-dynastic Egyptian.

The best (stones) are absolutely spectacular! And they are raised relief, which is the most difficult kind of sculpture to do. That means that somebody draws the lion, or the crane, or the fox, or the wild boar on the stone and then somehow or another they cut away the surface of the stone so that the relief seems to be jumping out from the stone rather than being cut into the stone.

Now these things are done on 10 to 15 ton blocks without any metal, as far as anybody knows, without any tools! We don’t know. We know that they’ve found at least 18 other sites. Now whether or not all of those sites are more stone circles, I don’t know.

 

What Drilled Holes in Hard Stone Beads?

There are other serious mysteries. There is a little black bead and it’s a very hard stone – kind of a basalt-like or a very hard shale or something – a really hard little stone that is maybe an inch square and maybe a quarter of an inch thick. And it has a hole – a perfect hole – drilled lengthwise through the quarter-inch thickness. Now, how the hell without any metal you drill the bead of a necklace – a perfect hole through a piece of hard stone without any metal whatsoever as far as we know …

Is Gobekli Tepe An Astronomical Monitor?

So, this is a big mystery, but we think – Schock and myself – that these reliefs, which are mainly animals and insects and snakes and scorpions and some of them are anthropomorphic human figures as well. And we think these are probably astronomical, astrological, cosmological. They didn’t go to this trouble to put 10 and 15 ton blocks of stone in the middle of a stone circle and carve them with animals. It has to be something consequential! The energy that goes into this is mind boggling!

IF I UNDERSTAND CORRECTLY WHAT YOU AND ROBERT SCHOCH TALKED ABOUT TOGETHER WHEN YOU WERE TOGETHER AT GOBEKLI TEPE THIS YEAR – IF IT WERE COMPLETELY EXCAVATED AND WE COULD SEE ALL OF THE CIRCLES, YOU ARE HYPOTHESIZING THAT POSSIBLY EACH CIRCLE IS MONITORING AND KEEPING TRACK OF A DIFFERENT PIECE OF ASTRONOMY?

Well, maybe. I mean look – this is a total mystery!

WELL, JOHN, IAN HOLDER AT STANFORD UNIVERSITY – HE IS A PROFESSOR OF ANTHROPOLOGY THERE – HE SAYS, ‘EVERYBODY USED TO THINK ONLY COMPLEX HIERARCHICAL CIVILIZATIONS COULD BUILD SUCH MONUMENTAL SITES AND THAT THEY ONLY CAME ABOUT WITH THE INVENTION OF AGRICULTURE. GOBEKLI CHANGES EVERYTHING! IT IS ELABORATE. IT IS COMPLEX AND IT IS PRE-AGRICULTURAL. THAT ALONE MAKES THIS SITE ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ARCHAEOLOGICAL FINDS IN A VERY LONG TIME.’

AND DR. SCHMIDT GOES FURTHER: ‘THIS TIME WHAT CAME FIRST WAS THE TEMPLE AND THEN THE CITY.’

That’s right, yeah. They had a mind set – or a heart set, you might say – so different from our own that we wouldn’t dream of trying to make a Gobekli Tepe. We can fly to the moon, but nobody would sit down and try without any kind of tools that we know of – lug 15-ton blocks up a hill to build a stone circle. What for?

I mean, they have some very good reason for doing this. We just don’t know what it is and we might never know.

I’M CURIOUS WHAT IT FELT LIKE TO TOUCH THE REMARKABLE RELIEFS THAT WE ARE SEEING IN THESE PHOTOGRAPHS?

Oh, yeah, well it’s limestone. But because it was buried for the last 10,000 years, it’s really practically perfect. I mean, there is hardly anything in Egypt that is as perfect as that and as un-weathered. The pillars with the reliefs on them – you can run your fingers over them. You have the sense of tremendous antiquity of it. You know you are in a holy place. They are building according to the principles of sacred geometry and that resonates.

September 20, 2010  Rochester, New York - Beyond the 1958 conversation at Friden, Inc., in Rochester, New York, between technical illustrator John Smith and a secretary from the ATIC division (later Foreign Technology Division, FTD) of Wright-Patterson AFB, three years later in March 1961, he was on vacation with his wife and Aunt Jane at Marineland on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, “when the strangest experience of my life occurred.” I asked him to go back to the moment that the taller, black-haired female swiveled around to face him and to repeat all that happened in more detail, including what images came into his mind from her when he felt so wonderful even when he could not move his body as he leaned against the aquarium ceiling support beam.

Interview:

“John Smith,” former Friden, Inc., Technical Illustrator, Rochester, New York:  “It’s mid-morning and we had taken a trip from Maywood, California, with my Aunt Jane and my wife and me and we all went to Marineland. We’re all watching fish and mammals swimming in a huge glass tank. Then I notice a very strange-looking outfit on someone in front of me that appears to be a female because of her hair and strange uniform and strange shoes. I am looking at her back and her suit is like a stewardess short jacket, all white, and covered the full length of her arms. She has her left arm linked to a blond-haired man to her left wearing a khaki jumpsuit.

That blond man in turn is holding the arm of a woman to his left, who is the same height as he is. She also is blond-haired and wearing a khaki jumpsuit. She is holding the arm of another gentleman who is in a khaki jumpsuit with the same type of blond hair in a normal hair cut today.

SO FROM BEHIND, THE WOMAN ON THE FAR RIGHT HAS BLACK HAIR AND SHE IS IN A WHITE SUIT …

With a very light purple bottom trouser and shoes that connect to the pants, not separate at all. The shoes had a pattern in them, a very odd pattern and that’s what first drew my attention – the pattern in her shoes. And also, the four with their arms linked and then the taller, black-haired woman on the far right that looked like her jacket was connected to her hair. That’s when she suddenly made a turn without breaking the connection of her arm with the man on her left.

Her strange shoes had very flat soles and had designs on the outside with straight lines like pyramids with some pattern in between that joined them. But there were no laces in the shoes.

WERE THE PYAMIDS ORCHID COLOR ON WHITE? OR WERE THEY WHITE ON ORCHID SHOES?

Looking at the back of the heel on her shoe, I just followed it around to the front. It seemed like a flower pattern, but in the form of pyramids.

MEANING THAT THE PETALS WERE SHAPED LIKE TRIANGLES?

Yes.

ARE THE TRIANGLES OUTLINED IN PURPLE ON WHITE? OR ANOTHER COLOR?

Yes, the triangles were of the light purple color against the background of white that was similar to her white jacket that joined the bottom half of her suit as a one-piece outfit.

THOSE SHOES JOIN LEGGINGS THAT ARE WHAT COLOR?

They are a light purple.

THE LIGHT PURPLE GOES UP HOW HIGH?

Just to her waist and then the whole thing blends right into the white jacket.

AS YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE WHITE JACKET, WHAT DID YOU MEAN HER HAIR REMINDED YOU OF A COBRA’S HOOD JOINED TO THE WHITE JACKET?

On the white jacket was a seeming white collar around her neck and I thought her black hair disappeared into the collar. But when she turned to face me, I discovered that her black hair was part of the collar. It was like she had pulled the whole thing over her head with her hair being part of the jacket collar.

DO YOU MEAN IT LOOKED LIKE THE BLACK HAIR WAS WOVEN INTO THE WHITE COLLAR?

No, I didn’t see weaving, but it seemed like her hair flowed right into her collar and the black hair was making a curve to follow the shape of the collar, curving toward the front. That’s why it became like a cobra hood.

WAS IT STRAIGHT AND SMOOTH BLACK HAIR?

That’s correct. It looked almost like it was not real.

THE LEFT ARM OF THE BLACK-HAIRED FEMALE IS HOOKED INTO THE RIGHT ARM OF THE BLOND MAN STANDING ON THE BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN’S LEFT. WERE THEY THE SAME HEIGHT?

No, the blond people were shorter than she was. She was taller by, I’d say, three inches.

SO, SHE IS THE TALLEST OF THE FOUR IN FRONT OF YOU?

Yes. She seemed to be the leader of these blond people.

THE THREE BLOND PEOPLE NEXT TO HER STARTS MALE, FEMALE, MALE. AND YOU SAID THE BLONDS ALL LOOKED ALIKE AS IF THEY WERE CLONED – THAT THEIR HAIR WAS THE SAME BLOND, THEIR CLOTHES WERE THE SAME KHAKI  THAT WENT INTO THEIR FLAT SHOES. SO, YOU’VE GOT THREE BLONDS IN BEIGE JUMPSUITS TO THE LEFT OF THE TOTALLY BLACK-HAIRED, COBRA HOOD, THAT JOINS INTO THE WHITE JACKET COLLAR THAT IS ONE PIECE GOING INTO THE LIGHT PURPLE TROUSERS FROM THE WAIST DOWN THAT JOINED WITH THE LIGHT PURPLE-PATTERNED WHITE SHOES.

That’s correct.

THEY ARE ALL FOUR STANDING IN FRONT OF YOU HOW FAR?

No more than 6 feet.

HOW FAR ARE THOSE FOUR FROM THE NEAREST AQUARIUM TANK?

No more than three feet from the tank because there was a railing there and they were all standing with their bodies against the railing.

DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT WAS IN THE TANK THAT THEY WERE LOOKING AT  THEN?

I think there was one grey sand shark and some other strange tropical fish.

AND YOU WERE DRAWN TO THE BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN’S STRANGELY PATTERNED SHOES FIRST?

Yes, her strange shoes because they joined with her outfit and had the weird pattern on them.

YOU WERE THINKING THOSE ARE STRANGE SHOES?

Yes, that’s what started the whole thing.

YOUR WIFE IS TO YOUR RIGHT?

Yes.

YOUR AUNT JANE IS WHERE?

She’s to the further right on the other side of the post.. She had been looking at something else over there, but then she came around after the girl had turned around.

WHAT WERE HER EYES LIKE?

Huge! They were eye-shaped, but at least two to three times the size of our human eyes. Her eyes had snow white around a totally black iris-pupil.

MEANING THERE WAS A BLACK CENTER AMID A WHITE EYEBALL?

As you and I have the white of our eye, hers were snow white. They didn’t quite look real as her hair didn’t look quite real.

WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU SEEING IN THE EYE WHITES?

A black circle.

LIKE WE WOULD TAKE A BLACK PUPIL IN A HUMAN EYE, THIS WAS AN ALL BLACK CENTER OF AN ALL-WHITE EYE?

That’s correct, yes.

WHAT ABOUT THE NOSE?

Not very large. It was smallish. I can’t remember her nostrils, to tell you the truth, but her mouth was shaped like our human mouths, but very thin-lipped and small, white teeth when she smiled.

HER TEETH SEEMED SMALLER THAN NORMAL HUMAN FEMALE TEETH?

Yes, they were more like a child’s teeth.

WHAT WAS THE COLOR OF HER SKIN?

Her skin was an ashen-grey, light green – very, very light, almost blended into the grey. That startled me also, the grey-green color of her skin. I never saw a color like that before.

AS A TECHNICAL ILLUSTRATOR, IF YOU WERE PICKING A COLOR FROM A PALETTE, WHAT WOULD BE THE CLOSEST COLOR?

Slightly off-grey with just hints of very light, flat green. These were the weirdest looking people I’ve ever seen in my life.

HOW DID SHE TURN AROUND AND LOOK AT YOU?

She maintained her arm position with the fellow on her left – the blond yellow hair in the khaki jumpsuit. It seems like if she had moved her legs to turn, she would have broken her arm, but she did not. It was a slow turn after she caught me looking at the back of her.

DID SHE SWIVEL HER HEAD ONLY AT HER NECK?

No, because I saw this crystal thing hanging around her neck and portions of the front of her, which I cannot remember because I was totally entranced looking at the enormous green stone with sparkles in it that was around her neck on some kind of a chain.

DID SHE SWIVEL FROM HER WAIST?

No, because I saw her legs from the front, too. I don’t see how it was possible. How could anyone turn around like that without breaking something?

AND HER LEFT ARM WAS STILL LINKED IN THE MAN’S RIGHT ARM TO HER LEFT?

That doesn’t seem possible either, but she didn’t seem to let go of his arm! I don’t understand that at all. It’s completely foreign to me.

AT THAT FIRST MICROSECOND WHEN YOU SEE HER FRON THE TOP OF HER HEAD TO THE BOTTOM OF HER SHOES FACING YOU, WHAT WAS THE IIMMEDIATE SENSATION THAT WENT INTO YOUR MIND AND BODY?

WHAT WAS GOING THROUGH YOUR MIND? PICTURES? SYMBOLS?

The black-haired female knew something about me that I didn’t know - like I owed her something - and it seemed like she had control over me and did something that made me stand still, paralyzed. But I felt like a million dollars because it was just such a good feeling! I’ve never had it since.

Her face had very thin lips. She was smiling like a forced smile – not like a wide model’s smile. She had very small teeth. They stayed together and it was a brief smile, not very long. I saw the stone that was enormous, at least two inches in diameter.

WAS IT CIRCULAR, TRIANGULAR, WHAT WAS THE SHAPE?

It had cuts to it. It seemed to have been very neatly cut out of something and hanging on a chain. I think the stone was almost square.

The cobra look and she seemed to have an inability to smile widely. It was as if  you saw a large Gila monster on a Pacific island and the animal’s tongue comes out – you would almost think that she had a reptilian tongue that was going to come out because of her grey-green skin color.

DID SHE ALSO HAVE GREYISH-GREEN HANDS?

No. When I looked at the hand on the right, the suit seemed to come down half way down the hand and all I saw were the fingers. Her nails were not colored. They were almost white. Her fingers were very small, almost like some kind of an animal that might have short fingers with white claws.

THE HAND YOU COULD SEE DID NOT LOOK HUMAN?

No, not as my hand.

THE NAILS WERE WHITE AND THE SKIN WAS GREYISH-GREEN. DO YOU REMEMBER HOW MANY FINGERS YOU WERE LOOKING AT?

There were four of them.

YOU COULD NOT SEE FIVE FINGERS?

No, I could not.

HOW LONG WERE EACH OF THOSE FOUR FINGERS?

They seemed to all be the same length, 2.5 to 3 inches.

ROUNDED OR POINTED NAILS?

Rounded and they were an odd snow white colored, like if you had a white opal.

SHINY NAILS THEN?

Somewhat and rounded.

YOU ARE LOOOKING AT THAT FACETED GREEN STONE AND HER EYES, WHAT GOES INTO YOUR MIND FROM HER?

I’m afraid actually to say what happened because it is kind of embarrassing. It seemed like she knew me. She was chastising me for staring at the back of her and that’s why she turned around to let me know that she knew I was looking at the back of her. And then, the odd feeling. She was connected to me in some way I did not understand.
