With all the stress we are experiencing due the direction our country is headed, I thought I would try something a little different and fun for openers. Name your favorite television comedy/variety shows from the 60s-90s. What actor/actress made that show great?
I loved both Lassie and Sky King........We NEVER missed the Perry Como Show. He was my Mom’s most favotite guy, next to my Dad, of course.
;o)
I don't. Lately, I've been told that I look like Glenn Close. LOL!
I see your tagline..WKRP.. a good one , too.
Jackie Gleason show. The fifties??
Except I seem to remember it during the sixties. Didn’t he have the June Taylor dancers with the overhead circle shots? I enjoyed them.
And away we go....a little traveling music.......
I bought a set of all the Rin Tin Tin episodes in the $5 bin at Walmart figuring my 4 YO GS would enjoy them, especially since one of his dogs is a German Shepherd. He didn’t even sit through one episode, it was so boring, and I couldn’t really blame him. Black and white, jerky, dragged out lame story line. I think he thought gram was a little lame cause I had told him how great they were and gram used to watch them as a little girl :)
To the MOON Alice!
My DIL used to always say I looked like Candance Bergen. Love can do funny things to the eyes :)
I did get mine to appreciate Zorro from the ‘50s and the Lone Ranger. But at noon today, when I watch Alias Smith and Jones, LionsDaughter will not be joining me. She’s gone over to science fiction junk.
What the tea party and independent voters sympathetic to it are about is giving the United States the tools to compete again in the big global game. It starts with Stop-the-Spending. To the Democrats now demonizing the tea party and its candidates, those three words mean Armageddon, the end of their game.
I didn’t either until I started reading about the AVG accounts in China. He eventually deserted the AVG and went to the Pacific.
They really cleaned up Pappy Boyington’s real image for the Black Sheep series. He was a boozer and a brawler and a not so likeable guy who got results...;-))
Red Skelton, yes. Wonderful show. Also Lucy.
Thanks for letting us know. We will intercede with the Lord God on your behalf and against your detractors on the authority of Jesus Christ, the Savior.
Lucas is in to Batman, Superman, Ironman, Spiderman etc etc. He mostly likes the cartoons. I tried the old Christopher Reeves superman. He does not like those movies, but he likes the old superman series that used to be a weekly series. I have forgotten his name, only that he committed suicide.
I can only imagine what the dems have in store.
What they don't understand is the more they portray us as nuts the more determined we get. Not only that, but they have a lot of nerve calling us crazy after having Colbert sit before judiciary subcommittee.
As Everybody Loves Raymond's Debra remarked to Ray when she found out that Marie changed the spice label from oregano to tarragon.....Who's the nutcase now...who's the nutcase now. ;-)
I follow Billy Graham’s Rock The (River, Fort etc) on Facebook. I think it’d be great esp. for younger folks.
