Bill Hemmer says that "Tokyo Rove" will be on Fox between now and 10am.

Tokyo Rove...good one and so true. Like Rush says real sarcasm must have an element of truth.
Delaware Rove?
The idea is to smear her like Palin. I was quite surprised to hear Rove on Greta saying her campaign called Castle a homo. That was not her campaign and Rove knows it. Just a pure lie from someone I thought was better than that.
Seems the Repubs don’t have any trouble screaming at people in their own party but say nothing to the other party. Truths are being served with this Tea.
What is going on here is what is know in politics as a whisper campaign.
When a campaign is unable to win one the issues, they go around making slanderous accusation about the opposition candidates past to avoid talking about the issues. The hope is that by getting the opposition campaign so mired down in responding to every lie they are taken off message. The other aim is to get enough slander to stick by repeating the lies often enough that it derails the opposition candidate.
It is gutter politic tactics of the worse sort and should be savagely condemned no matter which party happens to be using it.
The accusations about O’Donnell are made up talking points that spin her background without telling you the whole truth.
For example the lie about her being against masturbation.
No, what she SAID was she was against the idea, floated by Joycelin Elders Clinton Surgeon General to teach masturbation as part of Sex Ed curriculum to school children.
Kind of puts a whole new light on the topic when the WHOLE truth is told. But the liars with their character assignation politics will simply make up a new lie to keep the whisper campaign going.
Rove and his ilk, by engaging in this sort of gutter politics, should be hounded out of politics. This is the worst sort of gutter slime scumbag political tactics.
Enough already!
One good thing may come out of this, however. This beltway reaction to O’Donnell is so transparent that Palin may become inoculated against similar establishment/pundit hysteria when she gets into her race next year.
I have this on a coffee mug!
Tokyo Rove! Ha! That has to scare the hell out of him!
IF you wake up, Carl, sit on the the bench and zip it.
You’re right about the whisper/slander campaign, but I’m not so sure about her masturbation position, so to speak.
Have you seen the MTV video clip from the 90s? She says that it is impossible to masturbate without having lust in your heart and that the bible says that lusting in your heart is a sin (as Jimmy Carter so famously recalled). Further, the pitch was that men and women were meant to please each other sexually in a marital relationship, and for a guy to otherwise know how to please himself would spoil that specialness. She was advocating for ‘purity’ at that level, as far as I could tell.
But again, who cares? Unless she advocates introducing a law to make it a federal crime, I just don’t see how it matters.
I can’t believe he is still repeating the lies about the IRS, College Fees and her house. Does he not read? She has answered those alligations!
FReeper onemiddleamerican came up with some examples.
Examples:
#1. Didnt get her degree because she owed the college money...
When asked about that by media, she can explain that the college held her degree hostage until she paid off her debt to them; and she can say that it would have been different if she had been an illegal alien. Then she would have gotten federal funds to help pay her school bills.
#2. "Didnt pay some taxes and got an IRS notice 5 years later.
She can say, "If I was a Democrat, this wouldn't be an issue. Hell, it would qualify me to be Secretary of the Treasury!"
Make this the "pattern", tweak it, expand on it and she will do great, since any interview she has will probably not contain many questions about her stand on the issues. She will definitely need to be well prepared to answer the charges, but also to turn the tables on the questioner/accuser as well.

Regardless of what you believe about her personal beliefs about moral purity, it should give comfort regardless that she takes her faith that seriously. At least she is not attending a church where the preacher is famous for saying "God Damn America"
Ping to #13 !!
A guy once said essentially the same thing in a speech known as the Sermon on the Mount. Was that guy also a crazy, weird kook?
Brilliant!
Hey, I think she should become Senator O’Donnell. I was just trying to clarify what she actually said on that clip from the 90’s. No, it’s not a winning political position in a Northeastern state in 2010—but it’s not what she’s running on.
Morning joe was playing a clip from a Bill Maher “Politically Incorrect” show she was on.
From what was said, she appeared on Maher’s show MORE THAN ONCE, so expect more Maher VS Christine videos.
The premise was something like:
Bill asked her if Hitler came to the door and asked if she was hiding any Jews, and she was, would she (against her Christian faith) LIE to Adolf.
Typical strawman Maher arguement.
Joe let out of a segment with a snarly, anti-Christine in tone, comment about it that almost made me punch the screen.
