re: Obama is a nervous wreck, chain-smoking incessantly, fretful and broken.

Spoke with a friend of mine in DC who is in very well-connected politically on the Dem side and I asked him about the mood in DC.

He advised me Obama is a shell of a man, second guessing himself non-stop, reeking of cigarettes and consumed with the color of his rapidly-graying hair.

Our informer goes on to say that they realize it’s “second party hearsay” but that it is “consistent with other reports I’ve heard.”

Remember very, very early on in his term, (not more than 2 months in I think), he and Michelle abruptly lit out of the White House, and went to an elementary school. If memory serves, he and Michelle told the kids flat out, that they had to get out of there, that essentially, they were both suffering from cabin fever....

I have said that I wanted to see him frog marched out of there in cuffs, but now it seems a straight jacket may be closer to reality : /

Ah, chill out. Smoking has nothing to do with it and you’re right. Being POTUS would cause anyone to smoke and even worse. Every president I can think of in recent history turned grey instantly.

Obama's got a guilty conscience over all of the transgressions he's committed against America and her people, his whole life through.

Every day he spends in OUR house, he's reminded of all the truly worthy Americans who resided there before him, and of all the millions upon millions of people that house represents.

I'm sure the White House feels like a burning hell to him.

Fine by me, if he moves his narrow behind all the way back to his house in Chicago.

I have seen FReepers throw property rights out the window because of the smoking issue.

Slippery slope territory until the left wants to gore their bull then THAT is different.
