Suppose the argument they made was that Georgia was a heavily Democrat state, therefore they were slating “electable” candidates who agreed with the Democrats on every major issue.
And suppose the “Republicans” they then placed on the ballot were even MORE outspoken in defense of slavery and the confederacy, than many OFFICIAL card-carrying Georgia Democrat politicians — even pledging they would enact laws to permanently bar all blacks from government and treat other races like animals?
