In any sociology class, students are reminded that researcher should respect his/her subjects’ point of view. Usually, professors use Margaret Mead (who studied Samoan people in mid 20th century) as an example of how her ‘White middle class’ background influenced her writings. This sociologist does exactly what the qualitative method text-books in sociology warn against.
That’s funny, I feel uncomfortable and alienated in all the other museums with their strange belief systems.
I’m sure they think that Ken Ham is “Islamophobic” because his name is HAM.

I think you will discover that the Museum employees and staff were very professional and courteous. There might be just a little bias on the part of the reporter.

I really doubt there is much of that. By now I am sure most understand it’s a natural history museum that deliberately and openly distorts and disregards natural history. My guess is most of their patronage is people visiting for the funhouse aspect.
Why is that surprising? I’m sure that (for example) a visit to the Clinton Li(e)brary would cause “discomfort” to most people here.
