If you are going through you car and not paying attention. Talking and looking away from the light. Feeding the kid in the back seat. Talking on your cell phone or texting. Putting on makeup (my favorite), adjusting all the dash knobs. Sleeping, reading a book, or playing with yourself. You will hear my horn from behind you. Depending on what you are doing, I hold the horn. I don't really care if you don't like. If you are driving pay attention stupid.
Speaking of horn honking, I really enjoy driving in my small southern city. There is an unwritten rule that you do not honk the horn unless it’s a real emergency. Drivers are generally very polite and driving in town is pretty stress-free. Drivers here may have other problems, but laying on the horn is not one of them.
Understood if you are waiting a few seconds and nothing happens, but I have had times when I was definitely paying attention to the light, didn’t have time to get my foot from the brake to the gas before *HONK*!! Or, when waiting to make a right hand turn and a pedestrian is crossing. I knew I should have run down the pedestrian so the guy behind me could get to his destination faster.
Well in Jacksonville Fl. you darn well better wait when the light turns green.... until all the redlight runners have passed the the redlight. It is common there...If you go when the light turns green you’ll get mowed.
