Right. Potassium [artificial salt] is an outstanding substitute. I have no idea what it’s shelf life is, but I bet it’s a long, long one. And like people said, people need — absolutely need — potassium. If anyone wants salt, it should be sea salt only. Mined salt is loaded with toxins not meant for regular consumption. Moderate amounts of sea salt might even LOWER blood pressure.
I’m a little skeptical of a food shortage in the US myself, but it doesn’t hurt to prepare — that’s for certain.
THANKS THANKS.
I remain convinced that the prophecies about aborted babies being eaten . . . and dying relatives helped to die a little sooner . . . for food . . . will become true.
The Bible means what it says when it says that this era of the world will be worse than ever was AND worse than ever will be again.
Not necessarily a problem with food shortage - this is primarily a problem of one type: clean, fresh water
You can have all kinds of food and still get cholera! Plus I think there’s about another half dozen relatively common bugs that can dry you up like a raisin toot sweet! IIRC, amoebic dysentery is another baddie.
E. Coli is the general culprit for Montezumas revenge, but it is a pretty benign form. But the kind that kills folks, I think we are back again to talking about diarrhea, high temps and fever like conditions, possible blood in the stool.
Nasty chit!! So it pays to have a few tricks up your sleave!
