Carl was terrific, Rus! I just can’t stand MSNBC....they are horrible. I could tell that Cenk Uygur was in lock-step with MXSNBC’s views, but Carl said everything he should. I am really rooting for him now. Thanks for the video!

I was so mad at MSNBC, noticed how I spelled it the last time...must have been curse words. Like Meg, I think my blood pressure went up also!

I am sitting here in my little light weight robe and I’m so hot, I could catch on fire! I had hoped it would cool down after that little rain yesterday, but the weather is predicted hot, hot, hot for the next few days!

In Georgia where my brother lives, they get the temperatures like for instance, 105, and then they tell them it feels like 112. Do they call that the heat index? I’m not an expert on the weather language!

Yesterday while listening to my favorite Christian station GLC (God's Learning Channel), they had a guest on the LOTS program (Light of the Southwest), Missionaries in Haiti, who commented on today's church in America.

“When people of the world come into a church they are looking for what is separate and different from the world. What do they find in the church? ... the world, Little or no difference.”

Something to think about, isn't it?

God help us in our day, in Jesus name, amen.

THE summer sun shone round me,
The folded valley lay
In a stream of sun and odour,
That sultry summer day.

The tall trees stood in the sunlight
As still as still could be,
But the deep grass sighed and rustled
And bowed and beckoned me.

The deep grass moved and whispered
And bowed and brushed my face.

"The winter comes apace."

MSNBC is the ONLY news channel that is STILL praising our Government - The only time I ever turn it on, is over the weekend, when they have interesting segments on criminals.

(Even the very liberal CNN is now openly recognizing the faults of DC.)
