Yesterday my daughter in law and I looked through all 52 pages of the wedding thumbnails. on line...I was choosing what I wanted to buy..
I put view pictures we clicked on at 200%..I looked in the mirror yesterday alright..LOL...and a kid did not look back...
although my spirit can still be that of a kid.
;o)
I had a long wonderful visit from son and daughter in law yesterday..great Mexican food lunch, grocery shopping to load up on kitty litter, bird seed..so I won’t have to lift them into a cart.
It was the first dining out in ages that I did not have to get up, walk and stretch to try to distract myself from back pain ..I went armed with icy hot patch, pillow and ice pack, of course..
Later we all retired to my bedroom and watched a disk they played at the rehearsal dinner of the bride and groom from baby to adulthood.. adorable and fun.
We relived the wedding and son indulged the girl talk.
It was so wonderful to “last” long enough before running for the bed to get my feet up.
Son loaded up all and took the old computers and printer from the garage and THAT’s done, too!
Now if I would only get my paperwork done.
;o)
Thank you for the pretty graphics yesterday.
Just enjoy!!
Long ago my wife decided that driving within the speed limit gives her a wonderful sense of freedom. She tells me, I dont ever need a radar detector. And I never have to slow down when I see a state patrol car or worry about paying a fine for speeding. Even on long trips when the miles seem to grind slowly along, she sets the cruise control at the posted speed limit and enjoys the journey. Besides, she reminds me, it is the law.
Romans 13:1-10 addresses our responsibility to the authority of human government and to the law of God. When we obey the governing authorities, we dont have to fear punishment, and we gain a clear conscience by doing what is right (vv.3,5).
Paul urged the followers of Christ in Rome to give the governing authorities what was owed them, whether taxes, revenue, respect, or honor (v.7). But he went beyond human regulations when he wrote: Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law (v.8).
It is our duty to obey mans law and our privilege to fulfill Gods law by loving others. And His law is the perfect law that gives freedom (James 1:25 NIV).

Memories
(Grace E. Easley)
Memories are heartbeats
Sounding through the years
Echoes never fading
Of our smiles and our tears.
Moments that are captured
Sometimes unaware
Pictured in an album
Or a lock of hair.
Images that linger
Deep within the mind
Bit of verse we cherished
Once upon a time.
Through the musty hallways
Of the days we knew
Ever comes the vision
Beautiful and true.
Memories are roses
Blooming evermore
Full of fragrant sweetness
Never known before.
Life must have a meaning
Goals for which to strive
Memories are lights that burn
To keep the heart alive.
Sorry once again for forgetting to address to all. I have already been on 3 errands and was trying to hurry up for Red Friday. I’m sure you will understand....LOL!
LOL! We have to keep the doggies dry! That dog is like my brother’s other dog and its a miniature. He just told me a few days ago that his doggie has gone completely blind and they are so sad. They had been noticing it for a while and thought she may be going blind but the doctor verified it. Then they have had 3 large tumors taken off his body and Charlie said the other day “Maybe God is telling us that Duke won’t be around too long.”
Charlie said the dog was doing quite well and had the house pretty well memorized but as he said “Its still sad.” He will have a wonderful home with lots of love until his time comes. And maybe he will live a long time. They haven’t gotten the results of the tumors yet.
Yes, you have a lot on your shoulders. It sounds like you may need another vacation, M.L. Your vacation sounded wonderful (all but the rain) which I’m sure you all got over very quickly and enjoyed the rest. I sure hope so. That Lazy River thing is wonderful. My husband stayed at one condo in Myrtle Beach that had one so we went back there for a couple of years. They are so relaxing and fun!
Your vacation sounded great and your pictures were terrific!
I would never be brave enough to ride those mules....NO WAY could I do that! My husband probably would have though but I would have had to do something else! I’ll admit I would be CHICKEN to do that....LOL!
Just love this, yorkie..all of it! Lovely
Cute yorkie! I will tell about a tick I had on me last week sometimes. Scared the living daylights out of me!
Oh, JC - that is so sad about your brother’s dog. My little kid’s back legs are nearly useless - she can barely get around, but she’s a happy little thing, and as long as she isn’t in pain, I try to make things as easy for her as I can.
I hope those in charge of ‘me’ when I’m old, and frail, will be kind. (You all can start right now, if you don’t mind.)
I understand! Amen..Happy busy Friday.
Thank you yorkie! I may be a tad better but not much! I have taken my Aleve and pain pill already!

There definitely is one like that but I wouldn’t have it. I just found it on the web!
Meg, it sounded like a wonderful day for you and I am so glad you got to do this with your son and DIL! I am sure you enjoyed every minute of it! So glad your pain was manageable until bedtime! Praise the Lord!
I am sad for your brother..I know doggie’s last days will be as comfortable as possible.
Praise The Lord indeed..
Thank you, jaycee.
Another beneficial lesson for us today, Rus! Thank you so much for ODB!
