*** Yeah, but you got the actual rock doodle very cool! *** Well thanks for the 'very cool'.
However, I think the important thing here is that it proves:

It looks to me like an early depiction of planetary motion of a twin star system. It could be a depiction of Saturn and Jupiter before the Jovian rings were absorbed

I would have gone with Cerebral Corps Pam’s Purple Spyrograph.
...Pam’s purple spyrograph is turning and turning
these visions in his mind are burning and burning
tracing tiny circles on his brain
longing for the day when he can finally kill the pain kill the pain kill the pain
tiny circles tiny circles tiny circles tiny circles tiny circles tiny circles tiny circles tiny circles tiny circles tiny circles tiny circles

an ancient scrawl carved onto a rock by a caveman 4,500 years ago.
Doodle? DOODLE!?! IDIOTS! That is the first, preliminary sketch plan for Stonehenge!
Or maybe a map of an enemy's hill fort, to plan an attack.
Or a text on inscribing "cup * saucer" rock carvings."
Or, maybe the editor dropped a dismal point, and meant "made by a caveman 45,000 years ago."

I think that design was already in use on neolitic structures. I seem to recal that New Grange and some other burial structures were similarly decorated. Also, what about Malta?
