After several days of 90 degree weather a cold front went through Central New York last night. With it was a much-needed rain. Many plants are smiling this morning.

Good Morning!
This seems more like a typical summer with heat and much needed rain in our neck of the woods.
The corn is looking very good, and the trees are full of plums, pears and apples.
Even the mosquitoes are starting to become annoying again.

Eldest daughter, Carolyn, has a tentative teaching job offer in Alaska; Not far from Bristol. We're still searching and getting more information on it. She's considering it very seriously.
We're excited for her.

GOOD MORNING!! Nary a cloud in the sky, roosters singing their sons, chickens clucking away.
Kids gone camping so I am on my own. Trying to line out what I will do and so far, nothing...reckon I could do a little cleaning of my ‘shack in the back’ which needs it. BUT! right now, will fix me some of my eggs on on grits....

So far, nothing happening here either. I have a meeting in a few minutes. We overslept and totally missed breakfast.
I have a little story to tell. Y’all will enjoy it. But it will have to wait until either the meeting gets boring or has ended. LOL!
