REYKJAVIK, Iceland Authorities in Iceland have exhumed the body of American chess champion Bobby Fischer to determine whether he is the father of a 9-year-old girl from the Philippines.
Police district commissioner Olafur Helgi Kjartansson said Fischers corpse was dug up from a cemetery near Selfoss in southern Iceland early Monday in the presence of a doctor, a priest and other officials.
Kjartansson said Fischer was reburied after DNA samples were taken.
Fischer died in Iceland in January 2008 aged 64. He left no will, and legal wrangling continues over his estate.
Last month Icelands supreme court ruled Fischer should be exhumed so DNA testing could determine whether he was the father of Jinky Young, whose mother Marilyn says she had a relationship with Fischer.

Now all we have to do is to put his body on the front of a high speed train where pitbulls are taught the Sicilian opening, Schevenigen variation?

So her probable mate is dead. Fortunately, they can still check mate.

While he is out of the ground maybe he can play a game of chess with Death.

Unh...not recommended by me. The producers blew a good chance to make a classic DC Comics Western horror film (imagine The Man with No Name vs. sideshow zombies) in favor of an action film with heavy metal background music, Megan Fox, two gatlings mounted on a horse, and a train wreck. :-(

Blech... if the producers had done the research (yeah, right), they'd been better off optioning Joe R. Lansdale's Two Gun Mojo as a script. Now THAT would have been a Jonah Hex movie!
