Sara said it was not fair for the Alaska tax payers to pay for the frivolous law suits. She took it on on her own. Can you imagine the law suits form the idiots if the state gave her money outside the law?

I don’t think she was able to focus on her job because of all the distractions of legal complaints against her.

And your point is what, exactly?
Are you trying to deny that the Left has been harassing Sarah Palin with nonsensical ethics complaints? Are you attacking her for writing a book or giving speeches for money?

When you say “The State of Alaska” offered to pay, what does that mean? Attorney General, state legislature?

None of this is of any real import. It will be blown out of proportion and made out to be more than what it really is or was, just as you insinuate, but in the end, her supporters don’t care, and by the time Obama is finished trying to cover up the even-larger schemes he’s been involved with, won’t amount to a hill of beans.....nice try.

A contract for legal services was issued by the State of Alaska to the law firm of Clapp, Peterson, Van Flein, Tiemesson & Thorsness to represent Governor Palin, and others, in connection with these matters, for up to $100,000 at public expense. Considering her legal bills were expected to exceed $500,000, I don't think this is quite the smoking gun all you Palin haters were hoping for.

Was that $100K offered for EACH charge filed? Sarah made it clear, early on, that she didn’t want the Alaskan taxpayer to have to pick up the tab for her defense. And when all was said and done, with each of the ethics charges filed, the total was much MORE than $100K.

If I read this correctly, you are saying Palin resigned her office to save the Taxpayers of Alaska hundreds of thousands of dollars defending her from false accusations.
Man, she is evil. /s

Sarah Palin resigned to save
Alaska the trouble and expense of all those nuisance suits and complaints. She never discussed personal bankruptcy.
This article by "Bob J" just verifies that.
