Is anyone else listening to NPR? Hubby just called and had me turn it on. Either they have been hacked or aliens are using NPR's signal to broadcast.
I'm listening to the stream here. http://www.publicbroadcasting.net/rrr/ppr/index.shtml
LOL! Amen.
.
I like Click and Clack. They usually crack me up and tell pretty funny stories.
I don’t know if I can explain it very well. It was distorted, unintelligible “talking” and other weird sounds that went on for 20+ minutes. It didn’t sound like any foreign language I’ve ever heard...more like a slowed down recording of someone talking, laughing, etc.
For the record, I don’t really believe in aliens. :)
I prefer Sam’s Garage.
(just kidding....maybe)
No, that’s the regular NPR format.
Reminds me of those one-line vanity threads: "Did you hear Rush just now? He's really on fire!!!!!"
Yep...good show!
Don’t forget “Morning Sedition.”
Don’t forget “Morning Sedition.”
GMTA!
I should have put “Red River Radio” in the subject line rather than “NPR.” My bad!
Whatever it was is over now, by the way.
In the morning I practice yoga, cultivate a zen-like calm and listen to classical music. If I listened to NPR at that hour, I would be grinding my teeth all day and beating up on those around me.
How can you stand listening to that smug liberal crap?
Watch out for the subliminal programming.
You can always predict a break up , when the drummer insists on singing . I just never thought it would happen to the "Crust" .
What? Click and Clack???? They are really hilarious.
Okay, now to answer your real question. I am not an NPR fan or listener. Years ago I listened a lot because I wanted to know what the others among us were listening too and I learned that I liked the Diane Rehm (sp?) show. There is a lot of good info on NPR, in spite of its liberal/socialist bent.
Bottom Line: I don’t listen but occasionally and it’s good to know what all of professors and the liberals out there are listening to as well. Forewarned is forearmed. Meanwhile, I consider those who are avid listeners as NPR Zombies.
