Is anyone else listening to NPR? Hubby just called and had me turn it on. Either they have been hacked or aliens are using NPR's signal to broadcast.
I'm listening to the stream here. http://www.publicbroadcasting.net/rrr/ppr/index.shtml

NPR is the all-alien station. Broadcast by aliens and listened to by aliens. Aliens as in “alien to our American culture.”

what is this, some trick to gin up ratings for NPR? I wouldn’t listen to NPR if they were giving away free cars every hour.
To: Allegra
What is the name of the program you were listening to??

I’ve always wondered why they all have the same strange foreign accent from no nation on this earth.

Or every ten minutes, for that matter.

I have no idea what the deal is.
I’m wondering now though if the problem is with the station he’s listening to. (Red River Radio.)

The only show worth listening to on NPR is "Car Talk".

I think that’s what he was planning on listening to when whatever that was came on.
We are NOT NPR fans!

Could you please explain this for those of us who were late getting to your post? NPR is always a little bizarre. It is because NPR is accountable to no one.

Are you listening to Car Talk with Tom and Ray Magliozzi, otherwise known as Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers?
Their heavy Boston accents might sound alien to some.

Or, if you really want to punish someone, tie them to a chair and force them to listen to NPR’s “Fresh Air.”
