Just a fun question, to see who your favorite comedian might be, past or current?

I would say mine is Flip Wilson, especially when he did *Geraldine*

Here is one of his funny ones he did with Joe Namath http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-355kMZxUN4

They just don't make *em* like this anymore!

It’s Sand!
Ya know what it’s gonna be in a thousand years?
IT’S GONNA BE SAND!!
Nothing grows here!
Nothing’s GONNA grow here!”

Flame away if you must, but I’ve always had a soft spot for Steven Wright.

I'll second that. Unexcelled master of deadpan delivery and the three-second-delay punch line.

Funny, they were both some of my favorites, too...

I must’ve mentioned I travelled down the road (US 95) where Kinison died (south of Las Vegas) three weeks after it happened back in ‘92. Creepy, you saw him three weeks before he died, and I saw where he died three weeks after...

Steven Wright:

I was an only child. Eventually."

I saw Richard Jeni in Vegas. He had me and my date laughing so hard, he stopped the show to ask if we were going to be okay.

I always enjoyed the Carol Burnett show and recall skits where Korman would try to keep a straight face but start cracking up. Something about that just made it funnier to me. Korman was great in Blazing Saddles and History of the World Part I. And I remember Tim Conway and Don Knotts movies making me laugh when I was a kid. Not on par with other comedians, but good memories anyway.

Steve Martin is probably my favorite only because I enjoyed so many of his movies.

Larry Miller’s observations in his book Spoiled Rotten in America kept me chuckling.

Others include- Chris Farley, Jerry Lewis, Don Rickles, Lucille Ball, Steven Wright, Albert Brooks, Dave Chappelle, Mel Brooks, Richard Pryor, Sam Kinison, Whoopi Goldberg, Bill Hicks, Dennis Leary, Louie Anderson, Billy Crystal, Robert Klein, Jackie Mason, Phil Hartman, Bernie Mac, Robin Williams, George Burns, Ben Stiller, Johnny Carson, Eddie Murphy, Roseanne Barr, Dick Van Dyke, Mike Myers, Sandra Bernhart, Dana Carvey, Harry Shearer, Martin Short, John Leguizamo, Garry Shandling, Jennifer Saunders, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, George Carlin, Rich Little, Richard Lewis, Dennis Miller, Rodney Dangerfield, Tina Fey, Eric Idle, Dom DeLuise, Ron White, Drew Carey, Chris Tucker, and Glenn Beck!

OK, you're on my Christmas card list.
