There’s a statue of Cleopatra at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. It (she) is quite beautiful. It shows her as having kinked hair. I asked an Egyptian about this. She said Cleopatra wore a wig of kinked hair to honor her Nubian subjects.
