Good Morning To Amy's Place

Barn Swallows

At opposite corners of the unscreened portion of my daughter's.
patio there are two families of these birds raising babies. I watched
the sometimes synchronized flying, the swooping and soaring..the territorial fusses.
We saw a deer on a distant green. A Mockingbird serenaded and did his swoops..A mourning dove is nesting in a small tree in the lot next
door..There are Mexican Hats, Coreopsis, Indian Blanket and some
beautiful orchid colored plumed wildflower spikes in fields adjacent..
There are bluebonnets in the spring.
There are fans on the ceiling in the screened portion of the patio..I
practically lived out there..It overlooks a golf course, natural hills are all
around, and it is wooded on the hills. It is far from the city..serene..
Panoramic sky and distant views.
One needs to make a list and check it twice for grocery shopping..no
corner markets there! One can get take out lunch and dinner at
the clubhouse just in case...so no one starves..LOL
There are many boxes left for my daughter and her husband to
unpack, furniture shopping for them to do ...but our bedrooms, baths
and the kitchen were all set so my Navy grandson, his wife and I were
all comfy. I know my grandson is ready to help them any way he can..

I am all choked up reading your post, Meg. What a wonderful, beautiful, heartfelt account of your grandson’s wedding. I’m so happy you were able to be there and experience the love that was all around. Thanks for sharing it with us, and definitely look forward to pictures.

I have never encountered Barn Swallows but wish I could! They sound so interesting. And in the picture, they are beautiful!

What a lovely place they must have. Your description was heavenly! Can you get chocolate at the clubhouse??? LOL!

You need to visit them as much as you can so you can enjoy that screened in patio and all that beauty! Your daughter and SIL are very lucky people! He can almost walk out and play golf....a golfer’s dream!

Spending time in the reading of the Bible is the way to know God.

We are the voices and hands and feet of God on the earth. Father bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, the lost, the persecuted believers, our children, Muslims and our leaders, in the name of Jesus, amen.
