I, indeed, am wearing red today, even though it’s a decorated T-shirt!

Who wears ‘glam’ around the house? lol

I’m wearing my red shirt too. It has 6 little embroidered gold stars and 3 navy blue enbroidered anchors. And a few white lines in it. You actually caused me to look at my shirt more closely....LOL!

Well, I just looked at mine more closely too. Mine has that raised decorating paint in all kinds of designs all over the front. Black, white, turquoise and some big JEWELS glued all around, lol. No rhyme or reason to it, but the shirt is red anyway.

This is the second summer for this shirt and its been washed 1,000 times maybe! And today I actually looked at it closer...LOL! I wore a solid red shirt yesterday that I bought this year! Its a little longer than I like them. I may hem it a little (if I ever get time)..I don’t like to sew anything! My mom was an excellent seamstress..go figure!

I've always worn pretty T-shirts around the house. When I have some that are a bit larger I take hold of the left bottom and pull it and tie in a knot. You can pull it up a bit higher on your body then, it poofs a little but looks cute.

I had women friends ask me how to do that. Remember, they used to have cute clips for doing that too?

I sewed like crazy. My twin girls were in everything, drill team, cheerleading, etc. I even made prom dresses. Now days I hate to even hem or mend things, lol.

Good idea! I’ve seen that on others but didn’t think to do it. Yesterday, I did put on a belt and sorta bloused it up above the belt. But belts don’t do a lot for me. At least it worked in a pinch.

I used to have some sorta clip that you could do like you said and put that over what you had pulled together. Don’t know if I could ever find it (if I have it) and forgot the color.

My mom made all my evening gowns in high school and they were beautiful. She did slipcovers, upholstered furniture, and made a house full of drapes for different people, usually the richer people. Mom made good money but she worked so hard. Once at a class reunion, I explained that to my Home Ec. teacher, telling her I was a terrible seamstress, etc. and hated to sew. She thought I had seen my mother kill herself sewing for others that I psychologically didn’t want to follow in her footsteps. Could have been...LOL!

Your evening gowns were beautiful AND individual. That's what my girls liked, having something different.

I have a creative nature, have done about everything and even stained glass windows and oil painting. It's just ‘in’ me.

I think you can even find decorated metal hair barrettes or cute elasticized hair decorations that can work on the T-shirts too.

By the way, none of my girls like to sew!! Funny huh?

P.S. When I wear a button up blouse over a t-shirt, etc. I do like them a bit longer but t-shirts alone....way too long the one I wore yesterday.
