We have a ‘chance’ of showers today. Hope they make it here. Some parts of the county had them last night, caused power outages to the Children’s Hospital and the Med, along with the newspaper. The hospitals had to run on back up power for awhile. But we say nary a drop of the rain in our neighborhood.

Lovely! The smell of the sea and the feel of sand under my feet and the sound of the ocean is beautiful to those of us from the hot, flat interior of America. Or me at least. Everything has its good and not so good aspects. Still my few incursions to the ocean have been lovely.
It is for a reason that 80% of the population lives within 80 miles or so to the seashore.
