Or at least not late for LUNCH! LOL!

I’ve been buying Edy’s slow churned, which has a lower fat content and slightly less calories, and it is just as good as the full flavors. YUMMY. They have a butterfinger and a babyruth flavor that is oh, so delicious. Butter Pecan is great too.

Good afternoon, Gail.
I don't think we have Edy's here. I do buy the Dryers Slow Churned.
It is very good.
I think that I would like the butterfinger flavor.
Our Rite Aid carries Thrifty's brand ice cream.
Rite Aid bought out the Thrifty Drug Store.
I usually order their butter pecan.
It isn't low fat but I love it so I don't read the fat content. LOL
Compared to Baskin Robbins, it is really inexpensive. $1.19 per large scoop.
Wishing you an a Cool Frosty day.

I love genealogy ... so far, I haven’t found any Native American ancestors tho I have always believed we had some American Indian blood in our history.
There are some limbs that I have not been able to trace. Maybe I will find them someday.

I know, I don’t like Baskin Robbins ice cream I can taste some chemical in it. Same with Blue Belle. Bryers used to be fantastic, but lately it’s been not so creamy in texture.
I buy the Kroger Deluxe brand a lot, I think Edy’s makes it too as they have some of the same flavors. Usually get it 2 for $5.00 when it’s on sale.

Yep ... I understand. I have a 10 year old who has her own opinion of what is fashionable. Needless to say, we do not always agree. :)

Yes ... when Rite Aid has their ice cream on sale for 2 for $5.00, I try to pick up four. Especially this time of the year; Marissa is always ready for an ice cream cone or a sundae.

Me too! But I really have to watch the calories or I gain weight, and that is bad on the knees and feet. So I only get to eat it a couple of times a week in a small dish, and then have to find a way to burn off those extra calories.(:

If I should die, think only this of me: That there's some corner of a foreign field That is forever England. There shall be In that rich earth a richer dust concealed; A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware, Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam; A body of England's, breathing English air, Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home. And think, this heart, all evil shed away, A pulse in the eternal mind, no less Gives somewhere back the thoughts by England given; Her sights and sounds; dreams happy as her day; And laughter, learnt of friends; and gentleness, In hearts at peace, under an English heaven.

What Is Secure? June 18, 2010
During the worldwide financial crisis of 2008, a widow lost a third of her income when her bank stocks no longer paid dividends after her trusted bank failed. The Wall Street Journal quoted her tearful response as an example of the feelings of many people who were similarly affected: You just think, This cant be happening. What is secure anymore?
Tragedy and hard times always jolt our thinking. Our best plans and hopes can be shattered by events beyond our control. We are reminded that there is only one source of true security in a changing world. With new appreciation, we consider Pauls words: Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life (1 Tim. 6:17-19).
When our resources diminish, we can grow richer in good works, generosity, and sharing with others. If financial stability returns, we can hold more loosely what we are given, trusting solely in God.
We are secure in Him alone.
Though troubles assail, and dangers affright,
Though friends should all fail, and foes all unite,
Yet one thing secures us, whatever betide:
The Scripture assures us, The Lord will provide. Newton
Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God.
1 Timothy 6:17
