I know what you mean, as I thought of the oil spill, too! And the campground flood and loss of life was so tragic. Six children gone and like you said, the youngest being only 2. On T.V. one lady said she could hear screams of people, coming from the flooded area. Yelling for help! There wasn’t anything anyone could do! I’ve camped before and one time stayed real close to a running spring in Idaho Springs, Colorado. It was a wonderful experience! One never would guess something could happen like this!
And That You Are, Meg! And as Martha Stewart would say "That's a good thing!"
My pleasure, jaycee.
Your Sparrow’s Song graphics are so lovely.
Its certainly lovely! But I love the ocean more...LOL!
Thank you Meg! I had forgotten about those little graphics and I’ve always loved them. It goes to show when you get too many graphics, you overlook things you like best.
I ran down to my sister in law’s to see if I could tell whats wrong with her remote control. I tried everything and couldn’t fix it. I so wanted to help her. She’s having trouble with the sound button and changing channels by scrolling. Everyone has a different kind of remote! Occasionally, I have trouble with mine but generally can get it fixed, after working with it for 30 minutes (and getting a little mad). Such small problems compared to other’s problems.
Small in the scheme of things...but SO aggravating!
Rebooting my cable box has solved that kind of problem for me before..I have to have a cable box for HD and recordings.
Once I had to call my provider and have them correct the problem at their tech center after a storm..
I now know I may have to reboot more than once.
Patience is a virtue that I lack with my computer and TV problems.
Of course fresh batteries are sometimes the need..DUH..I had my wireless keyboard stop working and realized finally that it used batteries, too! The originals had lasted for months and months..
I love the Ocean Too!

Thank you, Conor.
Me too! I told Barbara that with all this technical stuff we have now, I don't think I want anymore!! The last telephones I bought has the 2 in a set. I had to install those phones and get in some awful positions, and did I suffer the next day. I don't think I will do that again. I had my lesson!
I have a wireless keyboard now and it has to have batteries and so does my mouse! Batteries drive me crazy! My son gave me a 'virtual picture' frame for Christmas with a small remote control. The remote takes batteries. Frame is electric!
Remember when we had to walk across the room to change channels.....wayyyyy back! We never complained as that was all we knew.
I remember no TV at all..LOL
My mouse needs new batteries much more frequently...I have a sack of batteries in my freezer..I get so frustrated when I run out.
Now I see something in your graphic
That brings tears to MY eyes.........
A CROSS ON THE TREE!
Thank you, for posting that. (((((((Tia-Pammie))))))))
And prayers for all who lost family, friends and loved ones
In the horrible Arkansas flooding, last week.
Thanks so much for posting the “cross on the tree” ! I saw it this morning when I found the picture, but forgot to mention it. I’m glad you saw it and posted it! WOW!!!
Good night, dear Meg! Thank YOU for being here today! *HUGS*
Sweet dreams, and sleep well!
I saw the cross..sad indeed..I just watched another report of a couple of older folks whose car was stopped by a tree from being swept into faster moving water..He had thought they were going to drown.
More prayers for those affected by deaths and flood. Prayers for those losing livlihoods because of the oil spill..and for the loved ones of those lost on the oil platform...May God strengthen and comfort them.
Thank you for your sweet goodnights.
