NYC board OKs Ground Zero mosque - Community panel member calls plan 'seed of peace'

NEW YORK - After hours of contentious public comment, a New York City community board voted late Tuesday to support a plan to build a mosque and cultural center near ground zero.

"It's a seed of peace," board member Rob Townley said. "We believe that this is a significant step in the Muslim community to counteract the hate and fanaticism in the minority of the community."

The vote was 29-to-1 in favor of the plan...

A better step would be to "out" the hateful fanatics within the OTHER mosques in the city.

The dirty mosques give the other ones a bad name and federal investigations have found Imam stateside encouraging jihad and funding foreign terrorist fronts with financial contributions. Even CAIR was found to have engaged in such acts.

But then we are told that it is "wrong" to narc out the pro-Islamist muslims in the community.

Even more amazing when you consider the fact that New York has the largest Jewish population of any city in the world. I wonder how many Hebrew Temples are in Mecca?

I might consider approving this mosque after Saudi Arabia allows Christian and Jewish places of worship in their country and protects them and allows the practice of all religions in their country.

Muslims: Let me know when a Christian church goes up in Mecca and we’ll talk about your mosque building.

Yeah...and the inference is that, while liberal activists recognize the 'cycle of violence' in familial relationships, they are in some kind of endemic state of blindness, when the scope of the idea is expanded, to the parallel nature of the 'Islam v. Free World', and 'Husband v Wife, dynamics.
