These are the first photos of two F-35 Lighting II jet fighters flying in formation, just cleared for distribution by the Pentagon. They are so crispy and detailed you can even see the demon helmets inside the cockpit.
7 more pictures at the site.
Totally bad ass! Too bad the marxist in chief bristles at the sight of them.

I had to google. Pretty impressive.
Thats a Damn Nice looking plane. Now we just need to build about five thousand of them.
The price might come down a little then ;-)
do you know anyone that has flown one? How are they?
ping
Thanks for that lonk.
I was about to Google that one myself.
lonk?
Super weapons in search of an enemy “the one” won’t name.
I’m thinking that for the iPhone.
There is NO app for that!
It looks cool, but for those who have seen the “Terminator T-3” attraction, it sure sounds almost word for word like the description of SkyNet in the opening vignette (LOL) — it just needs a 1980’s Shaq making a freethrow using an artificial eye.
My argument isn’t with the F-35 technology, it is with its price/performance. In fact this extends that argument IMHO. It is overkill 9and overprice) for 95% of MRF missions.
wow so crisp it looks photoshopped.
Why do they have US markings on them?
Aren’t WE the enemy?

That would be a very funny video — DAS on iPod and iPAD blowing away Android and Kindles... ;)
What do the lighting bolts on the real vert wings indicate?
I’m pretty sure that is Angels Stadium in Anaheim at about 4:15 in the video.
Click on pic for past Navair pings.
Post or FReepmail me if you wish to be enlisted in or discharged from the Navair Pinglist.
The only requirement for inclusion in the Navair Pinglist is an interest in Naval Aviation.
This is a medium to low volume pinglist.
real = rear
At Universal? Ironic aside - that project was built by the company I worked for a while ago.
