I just switched from Republican to Democrat (Viking Kitties secretly switched his meds)

I just switched from pro life to pro choice because I am a liberal who likes watching babies die and from pro gun to anti gun because I don't give a crap about my property or the safety of my family. I've always supported amnesty for illegal aliens. Because I profit off helping them steal identities..

Good thing it wasn’t a moving target! Sort of like Jake’s pouncing on Shannon while she’s asleep ...

The Dad said the weedeater can run in the morning before swimming practice. It is very hot this afternoon ... but I can hear the grass growing and it’s very annoying!

I just had to watch “Cars” again. I really like Pixar movies.

A nice time waster.

Tractor Tipping

There are a bunch of other Pixar games there as well.

We’re planning to go to the pool after supper. Bill ran his wallet through the washer again.

My friend (drag racer) has pooh-poohed that film since it first came out, but today, he actually sat with me and WATCHED it! He even laughed a few times ~ especially at the tractor tipping!

When he saw the framed news article on the Hudson Hornet, he launched into a “mini-lecture” on the beginnings of stock car racing. At that point, I KNEW he was enjoying the movie.

Big thunderstorm. I guess we won’t go to the pool after all. We can put the byos to bed, instead.

Pixar had some short films to show today. Some of the characters from cars, and from Wall-e.

I hadn’t known that Fred could fly! (Learned it from a UFO, don’tcha know? He was teaching the UFO how to tractor-tip.)

It’s still raining here. The cats blame me.

"It’s still raining here. The cats blame me."

Sounds like the opening to Heinlein's "The Door Into Summer".

The old farmhouse had nine doors to the outside. The cat wanted whatsisname to open the door into Summer.

Jake must have persuaded Whatsisname to let him out into Late Spring: Jake is wet.

Heinlein could have saved himself a lot of trouble by having a cat that could walk through walls at that farmhouse.

Cats do that here, but it’s not because of special abilities by the cats. It just describes how decrepit some of the walls have become. After all, many of them are near as old as I am.

Hi Sion, arms feeling better yet? Or are they worse today?

Armz are surprisingly better today. Even after two hours of holding a Sun&Lion (old Iranian) flag high aloft along with a "Democracy for Iran" sign a bit lower.

We've done this so often and peacefully the police don't pay any attention to us anymore. One or two waved to us today as they drove by.

But it's interesting. The positive response from the public is increasing.

Bill ran his wallet through the washer again.

Better warn him. The feds don't look kindly on money-laundering.

Just learned my boyhood home was built soon after my father was born. I could buy it easily today as a vacation home... and this in what was a "high-tech city" then.

OTOH, just bringing the insulation up to modern levels would be costly. And they probably would not let me run the incinerator anymore. But the basement had no less than four workbenches if you include the darkroom.

It’s a fun movie. The only Pixar movie that I have not cared for is Ratatouille. Of course, that is the one that all the critics loved.

What didn't you like about it?

The previews weren't good enough to get me into the theater.

Some houses aren't worth fixing, for the right reasons.

Just depends on whether you have enough wrong reasons to proceed.

You could always endow a library.

Rats in a kitchen. Not cute mice but rats.

I could not get past that. And every time I almost made it they had to remind me that it was a nasty sewer rat. In a restaurant kitchen.

It was enough to put me off eating in restaurants for two months.

No rats. No cockroaches. They are not cute in kitchens. Even in animated form.

Rats. Blah!
