I just switched from Republican to Democrat (Viking Kitties secretly switched his meds)

I just switched from pro life to pro choice because I am a liberal who likes watching babies die and from pro gun to anti gun because I don't give a crap about my property or the safety of my family. I've always supported amnesty for illegal aliens. Because I profit off helping them steal identities..

Well, yes.
You see, they drain it from their victims.
Much like a soul slurping abomination.
Only worse.

I suppose that’s true. I don’t know anything negative about anyone making wine in NC.

This is all I have. If you have problems accessing it, let me know and I’ll try to get the destructions straight from the horse’s mouth. (If I’m wrong, don’t tell him I did it, OK?)

*ROTFL*

LOL!!! HELP!!!

I’ll tell him, but if he hits me, you owe me a bottle of good wine, and you MUST spend at least a dollar for it.

The author is my brother, who is my only straight DNA brother. He, however, is in denial, and prefers to go by his step-father’s name rather than his birth father’s. (Mine.) A little confusion there, but I think I may have tried to ‘splain the connexion *kof* while I was your guest.

I love him dearly, as he is the One brother I told you about, but he is often much funnier than he ever could have realized!!!

"I’m happy."

You should be happy. Happy only happens, if you want it to.

Happiness is not a state of being; it is a way of life and philosophy of living.

Here is a small example. I tell people that they should enjoy their time at work, because they spend a lot of time at work.

This seems logical and makes sense, but how do you make it happen? You need to find pleasure in small things, because the world is filled with small things that should be making us happy if we weren't ignoring them.

Sometimes people are not happy because they’re headed the wrong way in life, are making bad decisions, choosing immoral acts, etc. That unhappiness is the voice in their heart trying to guide them.

In that case, they need to look within and find the cause.

Like sticking your finger in the candle hurts... Means it’s time to stop doing that!

His girl wants him to paint the garage floor?!
That’s.. that’s... Sadistic!
Almost like gifting someone with satin sheets AND pajamas at the same time!

You and I have entirely different viewpoints, as is illustrated by the above posts. You seem to think that life is structured and directed. I do not.

My wife is one of many people who seem to get anxious if her plans do not come to fruition. I am not like that at all. I don't expect things to go my way; I expect things to happen both positive and negative, at random intervals. I am seldom surprised, or greatly disappointed, when things unravel completely.

"But I'm a good person," some would wail. "Why is this happening?" and they look for an explanation. Things happen, random things, some good, some bad. It isn't personal; it's life.

So when some roadblock appears to block my progress in the direction I intended to go, I moderate my plans; I switch to Plan B, or C, or Q. I look for the silver lining in the dark cloud of misfortune. I don't berate myself for having sinned, or made bad decisions. I don't blame anyone, including myself, for bad fortune. Things happen. That's all.

Yepper...reeely sad...
His girl of 50 years....back in the day, when he thought he was a stud, the little Lebanese he married went after him with a broken wine bottle when he flirted with a neighbor’s wife....

Course, the little gal he married has been my sister for 50 years +, so I’m kinda on her side...

He made her give him five kids, so she should at least be able to dictate how the garage floor is to be set up....

(*kof* If this sounds chauvanistic, ig it. He was married to her, so he shoulda never been lookin!)

{{I should live so long.}}

“He made her give him five kids”

I see haggling in this deal somewhere.
As well as lots and lots of bribery.
And a few “It’s not that bad” lines, or a “Just one more”.

Make sure he puts a smooth clearcoat surface on that garage floor, then spray Pledge on it when he’s not looking.
Send him back inside for the ancient dental tools.
He’ll do all kinds of contortions while sliding all over.

She’s wandered through now and then.
And I also extend the invite to hang out and add to our mobile rowdiness and general chaotic humor.
(Thread piracy done tright! Arrrr!)

[Don’t mind the mess, we litter the thread with short works of fiction writin here and there, as we repurpose threads done by zotted trolls. We move from month to month as well, so we have two ping lists top keep everyone up to speed as to where we’re at.]

I’ve seen this thread, even been tempted to check in, but then when I saw NicknamedBob’s and Tax-Chick’s exchange, I just decided to pop in.

And then while outside whining about this and that while messing with laundry, I realized that *I* myself needed to take that little true truism to heart...

Things I’ve been avoided that I am supposed to do, that inner nagging...

Yes indeed!

(not bothering to courtesy ping ‘cause you’ll probably see this anyway~)
