I just switched from Republican to Democrat (Viking Kitties secretly switched his meds)

I just switched from pro life to pro choice because I am a liberal who likes watching babies die and from pro gun to anti gun because I don't give a crap about my property or the safety of my family. I've always supported amnesty for illegal aliens. Because I profit off helping them steal identities..

The landscaping staff here is very busy converting a strip of grass along the fence into desert landscaping. They let the grass die, then dug up the existing sprinkler system.

The last week, they’ve been digging holes, so it looks like a colony of gophers have been at work. The next thing was to plant the sprinkler system so that only certain things were watered, and today, they dumped a whole truckload of HUGH rocks and have been moving them to precise places.

The places are outlined in orange spray paint.

I wish they’d do the whole place, but I suspect it will be section by section.

I don’t know what season we’re having. Maybe an off-season. *sigh*

Apparently we already had summer.

It was last Saturday.

Yes it was. I was on the verge of wishing for A/C that afternoon. Wasn’t really all that hot, but the humidity was high.

Alive? Me? Oh, boy howdy I’m alive. A wee bit TOO alive; truth be known.

I’d like NOTHING better this FINE American morning than to see a certain person standing under a tall tree with his f’n loafers off the ground.

Fire’s up an’ th’ kettle’s about to boil, FRiends.

Don’t know zackly when; don’t know zackly where; don’t know zackly how it’ll manifest. I just know it’s comin’; like the midnight express freight train, it’s a -comin’. Hot rails to Hell, an’ that steam whistle howlin’ long and ominous across the Heartland. By thunder it’s a -comin’ with a sound and a fury to loose the bowels of the most battle-hardened warrior.

DAMN the boy tyrant wannabe!!

DAMN his lackeys!!

DAMN his media apologists!!

O that it were THEM awaiting their doom in Utah, this day!!

But, God willing, soon the jaw-jackin’ and handwringing analysis will end, The People will awaken, and there’ll yet be ammo enough to do for ‘em all.

Take ye all th’ tender ones away to HIDE!!

Pray come Vengeance!!

Blood, and fire, and billows of smoke!! A great and terrible judgment; a fresh torrent of nourishing LIFE to the roots of The Tree of Liberty!!

Look alive, ye say? Aye! Alive an’ hopin’ fer change!!

Remember 1993? We had two weeks of summer, end of July into early August...

I know that train’s a-comin’ man!
BP is a death knoll for BO, and they all know it.
You should see the sappy commercials that Harry Reid is airing here. Lah-ti-DAH! I sure wouldn’t wanna be him when the Judgement comes.

Actually, I wouldn’t wanna be HR or BO...*shudder* spawn of the dead.

We usually have Christmas and summer, but this year, I think we’ll have Memorial Day and winter. Or maybe Father’s Day and spring.

That's an amusing typso. Grassy knoll? *\;-) I know, you meant "knell."

It was knell when I rote it! Maybe it was Nell, two.
*sigh*

Things are just going from bad to verse today. Mebbe I should quite while I’m still a head.

BP + BO = BS. I saw that tagline somewhere....

Wow, that’s some vehemently vivid verbiage right there. *drink*

The daily thunderstorm has arrived at my casa. We might as well be in FReepin Thailand, like Seaman Princess Petunia, only there’s no Pad Thai being delivered to our gangplank.

I’m glad it’s here now, rather than at 6:00 when the swim meet is supposed to start. *BOOM*

Ash is hiding behind the recliner.

An’ I thank ye kindly fer the awefully apt alliteration.

[Archaic spelling intended. Of course.]

Of course. The assonance of the phrase doesn’t work without the emphatic WE in “awefully.”

I’d hide behind the recliner too, if I had one.
Of course, I’m having my own little T-storms here, and leaving a lot of hurt feelings in my wake. Thankfully, I know how to apologize.

In other news, my son got word from Homeland Security that his fiancee’s visa has been approved, so there will most likely be a wedding in the hockeybughow household in the near future.

Got to get the girl (14) into school. She doesn’t want to go to an American school because she can’t speak English. I told my son he needs to ‘splain things to her!!

I’m pleased for your son, fiancee, and gonna-be stepdaughter. So many kids don’t speak English that she’ll hardly stand out, and it won’t be long before she espeeka el English as well as plenty of people who were born here, as long as she doesn’t get a Spanish-speaking boyfriend.

Her mother speaks English well enough to work as a telephone CSR for an American company, and my son speaks enough Spanish to fill in the gaps, so I think the girl will do just fine.

Of course, she is leaving her homeland, but it isn’t like she’ll never be able to go back. I’m hoping she will adjust to it within the next year. I’ll keep her in my prayers.

It surprises me - because I never go anywhere - how easily people come and go from Latin America. Only two hours to Colombia from Florida, but it might as well be two days if you never go anywhere but the Walmart.

Yep. My son has been there several times, and I think his total flying time was three hours, though there was a plane change somewhere.

And then there are the folks who fly all day, just to visit a dear friend! *hug*
