Your heart burns for White Castle sliders? This product's for you.
The Ohio-based burger chain is selling a slider-scented candle throughout May to commemorate National Hamburger Month.
The white candle is packaged in a ceramic version of the cardboard White Castle sleeve.

A hot car interior, and the smell of White Castle mixed with the smell of a wet dog. Pure heaven. Pure South Side.

At least it's the before smell and not the after smell.

Moving from Chi-Town to Ft Worth in a couple of weeks. This is one of the things I’ll miss the most. I’ve enjoyed these ever since I could remember. My Dad was in a wedding band and would bring them home late Saturday night and I would eat them cold for breakfast early Sunday morning.
Might have to pick up some of these “smells” to remind me of one of the good things about the area I’m leaving.

My late father was born and raised in Indiana, and one of his favorite things in the world was White Castles. When he picked up and moved to the South for his job (Florida, then Georgia), he didn’t miss the Midwest’s winters, but he sure as heck missed the White Castles...Krystals just didn’t fill the void for him.
I still try to stop by there when we are back within range of a W.C. There is nothing like that out here in Arkansas :(

This is a sore spot with me. I love White Castles. Grew up with them. The store bought ones just aren’t as good; you might say, they can’t hold a candle to the real ones. There’s no White Castle stand within probably 200 miles of where I live now. But I know that if they ever opened one in my town, it would be packed all day and night. Years ago I contacted the WC people, begging them to consider opening a franchise in my town. Got back this curt little note about how they’re the experts regarding their marketing plan and that it would never include my town. Like a said, it’s a sore spot with me.

The store bought ones just arent as good; you might say, they cant hold a candle to the real ones. How about this candle? Burn one for the aroma while eat a store bought one...
Failing that, eat the candle.
