If I ever end up in the amazon basin, I’m no longer going to worry about piranhas. Various species of catfish of all sizes appear to be the real killers.

It is always the same,,,,,, they are going to catch a BIG fish....... and then they are going to turn it loose.

I LOVE this show! Jeremy Wade give a lot of info about what he is seeking to catch. He is educated in biology and has been fishing since he was a kid.
BTW, I don't fish but find stories of huge fish fascinating. (There have long been stories of huge, huge catfish around the dams on the Tennessee River.)
I've bought the first DVD set of “River Monsters” and know that its something that I can and will watch time and time again.

I was a HUGE fisherwoman back in the day. We had boats (Little Sister 42 ft Hatteras) and fished off shore for bill fish. I have a been there done that kind of attitude now

Probably the worst movie(and I'm not exaggerating!) ever made in the history of film. It was on the Syfy channel a few weeks ago and it was like watching a train wreck in slow motion!

I saw the video of the guy on shore kicking the giant fish. It’s up their with Megalodon (or whatever it’s called, about the prehistoric giant sharks).
