Pastor’s Business Card

A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door.

Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote ‘Revelation 3:20’ on the back of it and stuck it in the door.

When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, ‘Genesis 3:10..’

Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter. Revelation 3:20 begins ‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock.’ Genesis 3:10 reads, ‘I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked.’

‘A cheerful heart is good medicine’ (Prov. 17:22)

He laughed when I asked him. His daughter who lives in Ocean Springs, MS, is really worried of course. She lives right on the bay from the ocean. They lived through Katrina and it took 3 years for them to re-build their home. I keep praying that it can be fixed soon, but mighty afraid it won’t be!!

She is the niece that came up for the races last August and she is a jewel of a person.

Thank you, Meg! The only thing hard for me to understand was how all your Sunday graphics are so beautiful and all the colors show up in your tables,etc. and yet this one today didn’t. The colors in the picture were perfect but I didn’t get the font color or the outer table color. Maybe there are 2 or 3 colors that Firefox doesn’t receive correctly. Dunno!

The frame matches the graphic perfectly, on IE. The font is green, too.

This is the only one that I remember didn’t come through on my computer. It has something to do with Firefox vs. IE, I guess. COMPUTERS! Bah! Humbug! LOL!

My program receives all her Sunday graphics without a glitch, thats why I have a hard time understanding it....LOL! I’m not gonna spend a lot of time worrying about it, thats for sure!! LOL!

Mom...dad passed in '88.

The weird thing is...she can't hear but sometimes when I go into her room she opens her eyes. She has dementia and few words now.

She's napping now. LOL!
