Will do, Tiapam.
Marissa hardly ever misses school. She missed 2 1/2 days last quarter due to a lice outbreak at school. Yuck!!!! I warned her again about using other’s hair brushes. I think she paid attention .... she does not want them again!!
If not for those days, she would have a perfect attendance record.
LOL
So cute!!!
Thank, Tiapam.
Amy’s Place supports our troops every day.
America is Land of the Free Because of the Brave.
Thanks, Meg.
Some of the old graphics are soo special. They may not be as elaborate but there is something special about each one.
What a good girl Marissa is! Will be patient with the graphic! LOL!
I LOVE cocker spaniels. Had one when I lived in Ohio. He was beautiful! Black and white(not a springer spaniel). I named him Eby( from the song,Ebony and Ivory-LOL!)
LOL
I became a crazy cat lady after Marissa came to live with us. She has her walls plastered with cat pictures. Posters, drawings, and/or computer images ... she isn’t particular.
After Jr’s dog died, he did not get another. He now has a spoiled cat that likes to visit. She enjoys playing with Marissa and playing Monopoly. :)
When he is here, we have 3 cats .... Mr Mittens, Mr Licorice (he hides because he is afraid of Mr Mittens; he is an outside cat) and Cissy. Cissy loves to knock things off tables and shelves.
We had a blonde cocker when I was a young. She was really smart.
We would get in the wagon to play in picked cotton and she wanted to play with us so she learned to climb the ladder.
My mother came out and asked how Penny got in the wagaon ... when we told her she climbed the ladder, my mom said, “Oh, I’m sure she didn’t have any help!”
Penny was sure one smart cocker! Thanks for sharing that story. My brother had a blonde cocker, also. Her name was Amber and the only moving vehicle she ever chased in the neighborhood was the UPS truck. We could never figure out why. She was such a loving dog!
Well one tiny ray of sunshine for our family, my son’s van started! After they blew all the water out of the spark plugs! Keep Millington, Nashville, and the corridor to there in your prayers many, many with out homes or big damage. The Navy base at Millington was very hard hit. 1 trailer park is totally ruined. It had over 300 families, they evacuated.
No sign of our governor a (D). To busy with Nashville, to bother with tiny Millington.
America IS the land of the FREE, because of the BRAVE!! Thanks for reminding us all!!!
Well, your momma may be surprised to find out that some dogs don’t need any help:

LOL
Thanks for that link, Yorkie.
Sure brings back 60 year old memories. Penny would go whereever us five kids were. She didn’t let no stinkin ladder stop her. :)
I think cockers need a lot of grooming ... kinda like our chow, but they are very intelligent dogs. As was our red chow, Saja.
You heard how mean chows are, right? Our Saja enjoyed having young visitors; it was someone to play with. My sister’s grandson asked if Saja was a lion. We laughed about that for a long time.
Kids and pets .... a perfect combination.
Thanks for the update, Gail.
I will certainly keep the people of Millington, Nashville, and the corridor in my prayers.
We have had some wicked weather in that area.
