I am not a "birther", but I also am not firmly convinced that Barack Obama has established that he was born in Hawaii, as he claims.
It seems to me that the issue might be pressed through the use of an authentic birth certificate of someone else born in Hawaii at about the same time. Are there any Freepers who were born in Hawaii at this time (August 1961) who have or can obtain a copy of their birth certificates?
If this question has already been posed, I apologize; I could not locate any reference to such a request here, nor have I seen this approach taken elsewhere.

Who cares where he was born?? He isn’t a natural born citizen no matter where he was born. That’s a requirement of our Constitution, by the way.

Now the most common sense thing to do is to show it and my question above all else is, why does he not show the thing and get the question put to bed ?

It does not matter whether or not he was born in Hawaii since his father was not a u.s. citizen. That does not permit him to claim natural born as per art II section 1. He is an usurper.

There is no State of Hawaii, or hospital genereated long form birth certificate. It does not exist. that is why the forged document was created and posted.
what does being born in Hawaii have to do with the Constutitional requirement of being a Natural Born citizen, which means being born to citizen parents? Note the plural. Didn’t Obama admit that his father was a foreigner and he also was a British [foreigner] subject at birth. So how can a foreigner have two US Citizen parents or how can a Natural born US Citizen have a foreign parent?
There was a set of twins born a day or so after Obama, at the same hospital where he claims to have been born. The twins’ long form birth certificates are on the web; I’ve seen ‘em somewhere.

That would be a "Certificate of Live Birth", wouldn't it? I believe that is an entirely different record.
