Good evening!
A number of shocks have hit s. California this afternoon with the quakes probably centered in Mexico.
And....another season of baseball underway!
This week's action on the foreign policy front has had me more demoralized than ever. I could say more, but I better not.
Did you make the breakfast yesterday? What was discussed?
I am so mad about Caligula’s treatment of Israel. He is wrong and he will make us suffer for it. The people who voted for him didn’t realize he would be so destructive of our long-term relationships.
Who will rid us of this troublesome foreigner?
Unfortunately, your first step on your home soil is soil that has been desecrated by what they have done to us since you left.
Breakfast was outstanding! The Honorable Congressman Mike Coffman (R-CO-6th) was there to give us a briefing. He comes to the brkfst every time he is in town and he briefs us every week with an email to the founder of the brkst who reads his email to us. He spoke of the downs of them passing the DEATHcare and the ups that people are furious over it and we are looking at a big win in Nov.
If not the Almighty, (remainder of post self-redacted).
The people that voted for him (even several of my friends and co-workers) .....

Good on you. You are on the front lines of this battle which is being fought in precincts all over. Each one is crucial. I’m glad YOU are there. Your are being more effective than many of us. Thank you.
I’ve heard that many are expecting a sweep in November. May it be so! But then there are old-time pubbies (Rove is the latest, I think) who says it probably won’t happen. Aaaccch! I don’t know what to think.
I want to go on record here and now by saying that I have not specifically which troublesome foreigner about whom I was referring.
I also was paraphrasing a quote attributed to Henry II.
More and more I’m beginning to think that Orwell was a prophet rather than a novelist.
Well, no one knows which troublesome foreigner you were referring to. Who knows?
Until this Satanist gets his “thought police” into our brains, if he ever does, we can think whatever we want.
“The people who voted for him didnt realize he would be so destructive of our long-term relationships.”
I don’t think so, Jem. My take on that is either 1. They didn’t know about our long-term relationships with other countries; or, 2. They flat didn’t care! They just wanted MORE and his hope and changey thing was going to give it to them.
And, both of those statements include the clowns in Congress too.
I concede to your superior phrasing. You are right this hope and change swept them all away in a glorious transformation and they did not ever consider, as if they wanted to think that far ahead, about to what they were changing. They don’t know or care about about other countries as long as they are fat and happy. They don’t even care about being dumb or smart.
And we let people like that vote.
The people who put this guy over the top were the ‘I want my stuff ‘ people. They could care less about the nuances of foreign affairs or constitution etc etc.. They just simply voted for freebies.
The “I want mores” probably were the ones that put them over the top, but the stupids gave them a lot of help.
I really wonder how those “mores” are feeling about now. Some really, truly believe that they will be getting FREE medical care. Unbelievable!
And, once again, I have to mention the clowns in the congress.
Jem, I just was reading the thread entitled “Netanyahu Cancels Trip to Obama’s Nuclear Summit” and I thought you might be interested in response 36. Very enlightening.
There is quite a bit of discussion about the way BO treated Netanyahu when he was here meeting with BO, and discussion about what good, if any, it would do for Israel to sit around a table full of its enemies, etc. But response 36 gives lots to think about.
“Is it just me or is there something bigger brewing? Russia and the US just signed an arms control treaty that pretty much limits when the US can defend itself. It was a major win for the Russians. (Russia being a naturally paranoid state would never sign anything that would put it at a disadvantage, they learned their mistake from ww2). The same second that Obama is over there getting worked over by the Russians, Vladimir Putin calls the opposition leader in Krygyzstan to say that Russia fully supports the coup. Russia also decides to send paratroopers to secure the Russian general staff. Our largest airbase is now in jeopardy of losing its lease. This airbase has long ticked off the Russians, but is essential for our national security and for providing operations into the middle east and Afghanistan. Now we have Israel completely ticked off with the US, and other nations now feeling that they will have to provide for their own defense for the US nuclear umbrella is no longer in effect. Scary times.”

Yes, I was up at that time, but I was trying not to be. :( Sorry I missed you.
