Good evening!
A number of shocks have hit s. California this afternoon with the quakes probably centered in Mexico.
And....another season of baseball underway!
We woke at 6:10, I started coffee, husband grabbed his video camera, and out the front door we went.
We're about 25 miles or so (as the crow flies) from the Cape.
...so we stood in our front yard, along with our next door neighbor and watched it go!
..I suggested 'Not a Space Coast'...husband suggested 'Unemployment Coast'...
so very not funny!! :(

Heading north on Wednesday. It’s just starting to warm up down here, and we’ll arrive Midwest just as it cools down. I can take it. Anxious to get to work in the yard.

Nope, she isn’t. About half-way through the first leg, a muscle in my back starting “kinking”. I checked into the hotel and stretched out. That helped some. I’m thinking that things will be better now. I’m in the lounge at the Jakarta airport. My next plane takes off in about two hours. Boarding, I think, in an hour-and-a-half. I hope to sleep on it because it is already 2200 my body time. LOL!

Thank you. I sometimes seem to be a target for 1.)those who want to practice their english, 2.) someone who wants to help an older woman who is too infirm to take care of herself or 3.) someone who thinks a woman traveling alone is dying for conversation. I have several methods for dispelling such people. LOL! It doesn’t happen all the time but often enough that I’ve developed a system. Today getting off the plane in Jakarta I used the walk-extremely-slow-and-frustrate-the young-upstart method.

The rumbling starts slowly and builds....then the houses start creaking....it's like a freight train rumbling past your house just a few feet away.

Good luck. I’m sure you’ll do a great job! My son and DIL have a sales and marketing business and websites are part of their business. I do notice that they usually try to keep it from being overly elaborate. Some websites I go to have so much on the main page that it is hard to find the link to where you want to go.
