If Obama really does consider Kenya as his home country, that is exactly the kind of thing the Natural Born Citizen clause was intended to prevent- some type of allegiance to a foreign power.

“Barack has led by example. When we took our trip to Africa and visited his home country in Kenya”

Bears repeating.

I have a feeling that if he gets painted tightly enough into a corner and all of his machinations against this country were looking to collapse in failure, I honestly think that thug would come out and say he was foreign born, just to ignite a Constitutional firestorm on the way out the door.

You’re reading too much into this. people talk of their homeland, meaning where their forefathers came from.

Home Country: the country in which a person was born and usually raised, regardless of the present country of residence and citizenship.

This current Democrat government was voted for by a willing electorate that loves the rhetoric of Marxism. (And they will continue to do so in droves.)

IMHO

Yawn...they will just say its a figure of speech, referring to the country of one's ancestors as the "home" country.

I've heard people of Irish decent use that phrase.

But it wasn't "home home".

Here is a newly released video of Michelle Obama

I listened to her for about 45 seconds and turned it off. Sometimes I think I hate listening to her more than I hate listening to him.

“What more proof do we need now?”

Well, there’s this little matter of hearsay, that is, the wife testifying as to what the husband thinks, not proof of what the husband said. Second, it wasn’t under oath. Third, spouses cannot be compelled to testify against each other so forget putting her under oath. Fourth, home country and homeland are vague terms. As others have pointed out, many think of foreign nations as their homeland or home country, if you will. My own husband considers Germany “the Fatherland” although the last family member born there was his gg-grandfather.

If there is traction to the story, it has to come from sources better than this.

I think this is a stretch- I might say my father’s home country is Scotland etc...it’s more to reference background and family history than birthplace.

I shake my head in amazement this birther issue still has legs.

I do think it is vitally important to adhere to the Constitution, but even if Obama himself says he was born in Kenya the SCOTUS will not intervene, they will not overturn an valid election by court ruling.

In my book, it's a huge waste of resources and time when as a country we face such larger problems very few which would be solved by tossing this usurper fraud.

That was not just a slip of the tongue, or a misrepresentation. You don’t call your spouses’ ‘home country’ a ‘home country’ unless that’s what you know.

Oh, for Pete’s sake.... You can’t get from “the home country” to “born there.”
