Well - I thought we could all use some good news.
Was up in the wee hours of the morning watching TCT.TV and this Sid Roth Program comes on (It's Supernatural).
The host interviewed a man named John Fenn.
John has done some unusual things.
You will need to watch the video at the link to learn more.
But the one thing that really made me smile was that John Fenn who was "caught up into heaven" like the Apostle Paul was:
2 Corinthians 12:2: 2I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago--whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, (B)God knows--such a man was caught up to the (D)third heaven.
Thank you, as always, for your thoughtful words. I am an animal lover & that would be my fondest wish— to see my dear departed babies once again.
I wish the people who are not being kind in their posts could just not comment on such a lovely post. Thanks for making my night!
You are classy & take the high road. Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!
God bless you too.
I would call him rare.
Well know what dog spelled backwards is!
Yes I do!
Then count me out.
ruff ruff
All 3 canines here have been lulled to sleep as the Singing of the Lords Passion is sung from the Solemn Mass of Palm Sunday with Pope Benedict XVI
So peace filled.
Hope that feeling in my heart is not a muscle spasm.
My immediate thought was that there will be no animals in heaven because my wife has extreme allergic reactions to animal dander.
It didn’t take long for me to realize that she won’t be taking her allergies to Heaven with her!
As for the debate whether animals will be in Heaven, I’m not afraid to say, I don’t know.
Wasn’t the twist to that TZ episode that hell turned out to be beyond those gates where dogs were not allowed, and the man and the dog went on to the real heaven together?
Remembering that Twilight Zone where the old codger dies while coon hunting with his dog. Almost falls for Old Nick talking him into supposed “heaven” which doesn’t allow dogs. The old codger takes a pass, and moves on up the road to the real Heaven, where dogs are welcome.
Sure didn't work out well for Saul did it?
Ha! Yes there will be no sickness in heaven - none at all! So that allergies thing won’t matter - Praise the Lord!
Well, no, we don’t KNOW know. Because Scripture does not really comment on this specific issue of “pets in heaven”.
With the description of horses being ridden upon by the Lord Jesus when He returns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and also by all His Saints who will be returning with him FROM HEAVEN at that great and glorious time - I believe that is a big “clue” that animals will indeed be in heaven.
But we don’t know specifically about pets.
the person mentioned in this article heading John Fenn - well he had an experience like Paul did in the scripture passage I mentioned....Paul said he saw things that he could not discuss....but do we think Paul is a liar? deluded? mentally ill? on drugs? crazy?
I don’t think so.
Yet Paul tells us he went up to heaven on a “temporary visit” from which he returned and mentioned IN GOD’s WORD which is totally true!
I really have no doubt that John Fenn had a similar experience. Everything he reported about his trip to heaven matches up with an experience that Dr. Eberle had years ago which he wrote about - I think it was called Caught up to Heaven - but not sure.
He fell off a balcony and hit his head on concrete which split open his skull. He was clinically dead. And he described similar scenes as John Fenn describes, the grass and flowers and trees just perfect, and gloriously beautiful, and all exuding this beautiful melody! Yes - singing!!!
Dr. Eberle (he was a physician) reported the same things.
(He also had an experience where he went down into hell - and saw the reality of hell as well - but that was another book).
I just do not recall reading about beloved pets in heaven before.
I think it is a message of loving kindness from our Gracious Lord to all His Beloveds who have such animals——and I have no doubt these loved animals will be in heaven with all who belong to Jesus!
Amen!
Thx for your kind replies.
Quite so.
THx.
Thanks for your kind reply.
Amen.
Thx for your kind reply.
For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God .21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God
Creature - the word "creature" is translated from the original Greek word KTISIS, meaning all creation, the complete product of Gods creative acts everything that God has made.
“Not even angels get an offer of salvation.”
And I see no one arguing that angels will not be in heaven.
I believe there will be many aspects of God’s creation that do not require salvation but will be in heaven...
If your focus regarding eternity is on the loved ones and pets you want to see again you are looking entirely in the wrong direction.
My gratitude - and that seems SO trite a word given what He did - to Jesus Christ regarding my daughter is for His death on the cross that enabled her to be with Him in unimaginable paradise. Her body is perfect now - the pain and disabilities are all gone. He loves her perfectly and she is basking in that and worshiping and loving Him. One day I will experience the same. Even if I never spend another moment with her I am OK with that because WHATEVER eternity holds, as long as the Lord our God has built it for us it is simply not possible that it could disappoint in any way what so ever.
Yeah This was on the magical mystery christian tour of sid roth - this guy has weird shows.
What about passing GO or collecting $200? I'm starting to think I'll go with the shoe or the battleship instead of the Scottie dog next time.
