Well - I thought we could all use some good news.
Was up in the wee hours of the morning watching TCT.TV and this Sid Roth Program comes on (It's Supernatural).
The host interviewed a man named John Fenn.
John has done some unusual things.
You will need to watch the video at the link to learn more.
But the one thing that really made me smile was that John Fenn who was "caught up into heaven" like the Apostle Paul was:
2 Corinthians 12:2: 2I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago--whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, (B)God knows--such a man was caught up to the (D)third heaven.
Abby asked John where John's wife was.
Not only will pets be in heaven, but we will be able to communicate with them and they with us!
(With all those who call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus and so are saved from hell and for eternal life starting now and going on into all eternity).
John explains that the thought of pets / animals being in heaven really does match up with the Biblical record. When Ezekiel (I believe it was he) was caught up to heaven in his chariot - the horses came along with the other parts of the chariot - into heaven! And when we read about Jesus' return to this earth to set up His Kingdom on this earth, He will be riding a White Horse and all His Saints will be riding horses along with him (those are all the raptured believers from all time before that great "snatch" event).
These will be literal horses, not images of them.
So, the fact that our pets / your beloved pets / who have died before you go "up" - will meet you there and be with you throughout all eternity - is not surprising to me!
We have long known these dear animals know and understand so much and share our hearts so deeply.
Evidently it has pleased the Lord God to include them in His great and glorious plan for His beloveds who will be with Him forever throughout all eternity!
All praise and glory to His wonderful name!
Just thought I would post this today and ping a few people.
Thought you might enjoy or want to comment on this thread.
God bless all this wonderful Passover / Holy Week!
I honestly hope so.
Heaven is supposed to be perfect. If my pets aren’t there, perfection is sorely underrated.
So on the off chance I wind up there I’ll still be cleaning up after my wife’s dog? Damn.
Won’t be long till those who disagree will show up to give all sorts of theological reasons why you’re wrong. I’ve heard them all.
It used to bother me but I’ve since come to realize that if seeing your favorite pets in heaven will make you happier, then they will be there. To believe anything else is to doubt the words of Jesus. After all, didn’t he say you’d be happy there? Also, I would never put limits on God, would you?
“But the one thing that really made me smile was that John Fenn who was “caught up into heaven” like the Apostle Paul was:”
that would make me smile too, since it probably didn’t happen.
“And as they still went on, and talked, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire came between them, and parted them; and Elijah went up in a whirlwind on the fiery chariot to heaven.”
The horses were sent from heaven with the chariot - not earthly horses.
There’s a reason they are on tv in the middle of the night. Tell me you didn’t send them any money...?
LOL - yes apparently so. Although somehow I think bodily functions will be a bit different than down here.
(And why take a chance that you won’t be there!) :-)
Yes indeed. I had hoped so too. Now I know so.
(Please watch the video link when you can).
You have that right!
Still, I don’t think the Bible specifically addresses this question so it’s good to finally KNOW the answer!
NO, I wouldn’t put any limits on God!
And look - you were so right. But that’s okay too.
There were skeptics in Jesus’ day. They were called Pharisees and Sadducees.
If my pets aren’t there, I do not want to be there either. (as it clearly would not be heaven without them)
Earth to Freedom’sWorthIt...John is wearing rocket ship underpants and he heard his pet speak about his wife?
Nothing in this glorifies God or explains the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As such, it is spurious theology and we encourage you to drop it. We have enough weird junk coming out of Rome that we don’t need folks claiming to be biblical Christians peddling this extra-biblical nonsense.
By the way...will there be paper napkins at the Marriage Feast of the Lamb?
Ha ha ha! No I didn’t send them any money. LOL.
Did you watch the linked video or is that too dangerous a thing to do?
Dogs and horses are capable of unconditional love. I cannot point to a verse in the bible that would specifically address it, but I feel that in order to show unconditional love, you have to have a soul. This is why I feel my dog may make it into heaven but my ex-wife will not.
God bless you!
If this doesn’t float your boat - that’s okay.
It ministers to others.
I personally have never had a pet. But I know plenty of people who have.
Do you think Paul also had on what you describe when He revealed his own unusual “trip” to heaven in the passage quoted above?
No, FWI, I didn’t watch it.
I’ve seen plenty of tv charlatans. I’ll get the definitive
word from the Word - apart from wild claims of the tv guys/girls.
I have a whole file filled with wild claims from these guys - from the beginning of the movement. The commonality is they lie - lots.
ROFL!!!
Well, yes, you get it!
But, um, your ex-wife does have a soul.
I hope it is not headed to the other place which will be a place of torment, unquenchable fire, total darkness, and eternal separation from God.
I do not wish that even on my worst enemy. (And I know that deep down you really don’t either....)
Well - isn’t it good to know your pets WILL be there!
Hallelujah!
Well, God bless you!
