Won’t be long till those who disagree will show up to give all sorts of theological reasons why you’re wrong. I’ve heard them all.

It used to bother me but I’ve since come to realize that if seeing your favorite pets in heaven will make you happier, then they will be there. To believe anything else is to doubt the words of Jesus. After all, didn’t he say you’d be happy there? Also, I would never put limits on God, would you?

NO, I wouldn’t put any limits on God!

And look - you were so right. But that’s okay too.

There were skeptics in Jesus’ day. They were called Pharisees and Sadducees.

Not at all - including the idea that one cannot be "happy" in heaven unless supplied what one preferred on earth. Neither would I limit God by presuming heaven is even for the purpose of our happiness as we understand it here. Seems to me that the passage stating no one has heard, seen or even imagined what awaits has the distinct possibility of exclusivity.
