Good idea.

Ladies and Gentlemen, one of the great disadvantages we face in this fight is that most of us simply don't think and speak in soundbites. In our current ADH-ooh-shiny-D culture, long discourses don't do it. We need to learn to go viral.

This thread has a suggestion that we need to build on: A database of both threats of and actual violence against Conservatives by the supposedly peacenik, actually Marxist Left. I'm pinging everyone in the hopes of making such a database a reality.

My suggestion would be to organize these incidents of violence by subject matter (Dubya, Palin, Conservatives in General, etc.), and document each with the most damning quote or the title paragraph of the article, and link to the original article (not the FR page) and/or video or provide a full citation if the original source is in print. Then just keep building the database, circulate parts of it by email, post examples on other forums, send letters citing the examples to our news outlets and congresscritters, and otherwise go viral.

Heck, we need someone with some video editing skills to put together a YouTube montage of the wacko left threatening conservatives. Put it all in memorable soundbite format, maybe with a catchy song.

If someone knows a site that's already acumulating this information, please let us know so we can add to their list.

The point is to have at our fingertips for everyday conversation the antidote to that idiot phrase: "Sarah Palin/Rush Limbaugh/Glen Beck/the Far Right/Organized Religion scares me."

I have no hopes that the Marxist Media will pick up on this. I have every hope that we can make it a meme and a truism among moderates that the Left is far more militant, violent, and dangerous than the Right.

Start with the video of the SEIU thugs beating on the flag seller in St Louis. I always wanted to find a correlation between that and a Stern visit to the White House. The implication being the Obama WH told the SEIU to stir up trouble.
