There’s probably more than that in some FReepers’ ammo lockers.

That is 193 rounds per officer assuming they were required to put in range time once a month if viewed as a year’s supply. This isn’t even an adequate supply for a whole year so hopefully it was a six month supply.
The mayor is clueless.

Well, let’s do the math. That’s 2000 practice ammo per officer and then 8000 ammo to have on hand for the entire force. I don’t see why anyone would see this as excessive. How often do police practice and how much ammo do they use. I have no experience with it, but it seems perfectly logical to me.

Hey, my grandfather used to live in Pewaukee!
I used to play in the park next to his home.
Too weird!

Police send drugs to resale shop
DALLAS, March 17 (UPI) — Dallas police said an old file cabinet sent from a police property room to a local resale store was full of drugs when shop workers opened it.

“It seems like it is way in excess of what you would need,”
I want that ammo.
Why?
Because, there is no overkill, there is only open fire and reload.
And what’s with the “Need” part of that?
Didn’t they last year state that the law enforcement agencies “NEED” bazillions of rounds of ammo ‘just in case’?
But, it is nice for once to see that “need” herring aimed at someone other than a citizen.
