The women in my mom’s family were all Girl Scouts. It was expected, sort of civic responsibility! I have my pins and everything.

OH wow - how very nice!

I would give much to have my Brownie pin again!

You are very blessed to have all that! And your memories.

Knew a woman of my era who became very active as a leader in the Girl Scouts locally and in our state (NC). She never had children of her own but gave much of her joyous life to these girls and all these wonderful activities and camps of the Girl Scouts of our area (Wake County, NC) and of our state.

What a great way for a woman to invest their life. What blessings come down - through the generations even - from all the good things around the Girl Scouts!

Thanking God for all the women in your family who were in the Girl Scouts - what a heritage they and you have left!

I saw Juliet Low’s birthplace in Savannah, GA. I was a proud Brownie and then an even prouder Girl Scout all of my childhood years. What a wonderful organization it was, and I have nothing but fond memories of my time in the Scouts.
