Today is about Juliette Low, the founder of the Girl Scouts.
Any other Girl Scouts out there?
Yours truly was a Brownie Scout whose greatest achievement was stitching a "sit-upon"....! LOL.
Hope you will ping at least one other person to this thread today.
God bless!
Pinging you to this daily “American Minute” thread from William J Federer.
Each day he posts something from US History related to Christian faith in action by someone from America’s past.
Please let me know if you would or would not like to be kept on this “American Minute” ping list.
Also, if you enjoy this thread and know someone else who might enjoy it, please ping that person.
Thanks - and hope everyone has a blessed day - will not be back til tonight to respond.
I am proud to say that I was a Girl Scout from Brownies in the third grade through Seniors when I graduated high school in 1972. I made First Class Scout when I was in the 8th Grade, 1968. I traveled to see the birthplace of Juliette Gordon Low and I went on a Wider Opportunity out to Long Beach “Aboard the Queen Mary!”
Too bad that it’s come to this: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2469093/posts#comment
