As an aside, have you seen “Temple Grandin” on HBO yet? Speaking as the grandmom of an extremely high functioner, my God...Claire Danes NAILED it. She’s my new fave actress...phenomenal performance!

I did see it. Amazing. There was a C-SPAN three hour interview of Grandin a couple of months ago. It was fascinating. If you didn’t see it, try to find it on their web site.

I think I did see it...was it the "Book Review" thingy, or something like that? I've been following her for quite a few years, and she's truly one of my heroes. Her words of wisdom - "Do not expect people with autism to be able to multi-task" - have served me very well with my grandson.

When I'm not so buried with work, I do plan to settle down with "Thinking In Pictures," which I'm sure I'll enjoy. (BTW, the way they handled those flashing picture shots of everything in the movie - I especially loved "It's a Miracle!" - was so right on.)
