YPSILANTI, Mich. -- An Ypsilanti man is accused of getting naked and stealing children's books from a local library.
Ypsilanti workers and patrons "checked out" something they probably wish they hadn't last Thursday at the branch on Michigan Avenue when police said 52-year-old Terrence Miles emerged from the children's section in the nude.
Police said Miles stripped naked and is accused of "thrusting his hips" toward a library worker before putting his clothes back on and stealing a handful of children's books.

Well it is Ypsilanti.
In addition to the criminal charges, library officials said they are in the process of revoking Miles' library privileges.
That ought to show him! I bet he will never do that again.
Do you remember when the Transportation Department banned curbside luggage check-in when the airports reopened after 9-11? Same bureaucratic mentality.

be sure to read the last 1/3 of the article. We have two friends who are librarians and they verified that this is a common occurance.

Yes, the current state administration under Jenny Granholm is ultraleft. And yes, Ypsilanti has been going downhill for decades. But from what I understand, the GOP has an excellent chance of recapturing the governorship this year. Remember that it wasn't all that long ago that a Republican named John Engler was elected to three consecutive terms, so Michigan may not be as "heavily blue" as you might think.
I hope I don’t offend anyone but I don’t see library workers that inspire me to be naked. Maybe Michigan has better looking library workers.
