Thank you so much Amy. That just touched me this morning and I wanted everyone to enjoy it. We do need to take care of this country before it changes into something none of us will recognize! I worry about this country a lot with the leadership it has now.

God's Wings

After a forest fire in YellowstoneNational Park, forest rangers began their trek up a mountain to assess the inferno's damage.

One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree. Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked over the bird with a stick.

When he gently struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under their dead mother's wings. The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the tree and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing that the toxic smoke would rise.

She could have flown to safety but had refused to abandon her babies.

Then the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body, the mother had remained steadfast...because she had been willing to die, so those under the cover of her wings would live..

‘He will cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you will find refuge.’

(Psalm 91:4)

Wrote a reply and lost it. ?????

thank you for letting me know, someone is reading and considering the scriptures, as I do.
_________________________________________________________

Hebrews 4:12 (King James Version)

“12.For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Powerful scripture.

________________________________________________________
Luke 18:8 (King James Version)

“8. I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”

__________________________________________________

It raises the possibility that there might not be faith on earth then ...

We are living in a upside down, mixed up, insane world now.

Have a blessed day.

Oh, my goodness, ladies! While on the ‘hunt’ for a good bubble graphic, to add to yours, I came across this sweet one that I would have loved to be able to post. (It is over 500 bytes).

So here - a charming and beautiful ‘bubble’ graphic:

Beautiful, Yorkie. Thank you.

I could not try resizing it; my PSP is not working. I may try rebooting to see if that helps.

Hope you are having a Delightfully Warm Fuzzy Wednesday.

I don’t think we can resize a ‘gif’ and still have moving parts of a graphic. I do know that Lady Jag had a real old program that worked, but I don’t know of any available today. It would be great if you could. Thank you, Amy.

Praise the LORD, Come Lord Jesus, humbly we bow down and seek forgiveness, thank You for Your faithfulness, in Jesus name. Amen.

We are blessed to be a blessing.

Read the Bible, God will meet you there.

Yorkie, that is a heart warming story and photo!!!
My signature on my email address is Psalm 91:4 “ Under His Wings”!!
That is where I stay cuddled, especially when I am tossed about by the enemy winds!!

Thank you, Polly. I must apologize. I forgot that was your tag-line, when I first read about the ranger uncovering the chicks after the fire.

The scripture surely did relate to the story, and is a beautiful reminder to all of us, today, when we feel so over-whelmed by what is happening to our country. There IS REFUGE for us all. Now, I know why that scripture means so much to you that you chose it for your tag-line! ((((HUGS))))
