"And I wish I knew the name of this bird!" I would love to see a whole buncha those birds, plus all of those Meg has posted perched in the trees around our house. What a beautiful burst of color it would be!

Afternoon, Billie.
Spent yesterday afternoon weeding the flowerbeds and I’m paying for it today. OUCH! The flowerbeds are weed-free though.
Also, last night watched the Academy Awards show. Haven’t watched them for years but a local young man was one of the nominees for best actor. He didn’t get the statue but his movie, The Hurt Locker, captured quite a few. Jeremy’s sister works with mrsdd. KEWL! His mom was his date last night. Big write-up in our paper this morning of our shining star.

I didn’t get the printer with the fax so it was not as large. It was nice to get the scanner out of that closet. :)
I think my problems are the result of the Window updates not getting installed. I kept replying yes when asked but nothing was happening. My password was not being accepted so many updates were missed.
I may try reading my external drive again to see if installing 120+ updates might have fixed that problem as well.
Those dust bunnies sure multiply, don’t they? It always surprises me when I see how many are hiding there. LOL

JC, ever since I read the words under this picture,
"And, I wish I knew the name of this bird!", I wanted to fulfill that wish!
So, I did a 'little' search (well, a bit more than 'little', actually), and sistah, that bird is a Lilac Breasted Roller Bird!.
Here is the link: Most colorful bird, the lilac breasted roller bird

Here is 'your' bird eating a scorpion.

Isn’t that the most colorful bird you have ever seen? I would love to see one here.

Here's another ROLLER BIRD!
I wonder if it's related to JC's bird?
Giggle, snicker, snort, grin and a big tee hee!

All I can say, is WOW! The bird looks so alive, and looks like he’s actually sitting in a green box! Thank you Lori, and Amy for posting it!
