I've been hearing about the gridlock on TV.
You are missing the rally, Amy.

Hi, Conor!
GUESS WHO RULES IN THIS HOUSE?
To: Mama_Bear; All
I just found out that the T.P.Express III will be in Huntsville, AL on April 4th. The rally will be at the Space and Rocket Center. I hope it’s outside.
I don’t guess Sarah will speak at the rally here like she just did at SearchLight but I’ll still go.

I dont guess Sarah will speak at the rally here like she just did at SearchLight but Ill still go. I'd be happy to be able to go to any Tea Party rally, anywhere. We seem to miss them all. Gotta work to keep a roof over our head. We almost got to go to this one in Searchlight, but at the last minute a job came in that we couldn't turn down. Oh, well. At least I will be able to attend the local April 15th Tea Party Rally here in town.

HAPPY CATURDAY TO AMYS PLACE!
The Old Gumbie Cat
I have a Gumbie Cat in mind, her name is Jennyanydots; Her coat is of the tabby kind, with tiger stripes and leopard spots. All day she sits upon the stair or on the steps or on the mat: She sits and sits and sits and sits - and that's what makes a Gumbie Cat!
But when the day's hustle and bustle is done, Then the Gumbie Cat's work is but hardly begun. And when all the family's in bed and asleep, She slips down the stairs to the basement to creep. She is deeply concerned with the ways of the mice - Their behaviour's not good and their manners not nice; So when she has got them lined up on the matting, She teaches them music, crocheting and tatting.
I have a Gumbie Cat in mind, her name is Jennyanydots; Her equal would be hard to find, she likes the warm and sunny spots. All day she sits beside the hearth or in the sun or on my hat: She sits and sits and sits and sits - and that's what makes a Gumbie Cat!
But when the day's hustle and bustle is done, Then the Gumbie Cat's work is but hardly begun. As she finds that the mice will not ever keep quiet, She is sure ist is due to irregular diet And believing that nothing is done without trying, She sets straight to work with her baking and frying. She makes them a mouse-cake of bread and dried peas, And a beautiful fry of lean bacon and cheese.
I have a Gumbie Cat in mind, her name is Jennyanydots; The curtain-cord she likes to wind, and tie it into sailor-knots. She sits upon the window-sill, or anything that's smooth and flat: She sits and sits and sits and sits - and that's what makes a Gumbie Cat!
But when the day's hustle and bustle is done, Then the Gumbie Cat's work is but hardly begun. She thinks that the cockroaches just need employment, So she's formed, from that lot of disorderly louts, A troop of well-disciplined helpful boy-scouts, With a purpose in life and a good deed to do - And she's even created a Beetles' Tattoo.
So for Old Gumbie Cats let us now give three cheers - On whom well-ordered households depend, it appears.

LOL. That is funny!
We had a little Chihuahua who ruled our Labrador Retriever. That little six pound dog could just glare at my 85 pound lab and get him to back up across the room. It was so funny. Boo let him know when we first brought him home as a little puppy that SHE ruled the roost, and he never challenged her.

I've got a zoo. I do animal rescue. Mainly now horses as there are so many in kill pens. My two came from a kill pen. One is a TB who was named Poppa's Favorites & is now named Moonie. He sold for $125 & the other is a Palomino mare named Sassafrass, She sold for $325. I have cats & just found a home for 2 sugar gliders. So many people just can't afford pets anymore, it is really sad. I have to turn away horses & cats all the time now. I am trying to sell my house & buy a small farm in PA so I am very limited in what I can do. Plus an outbreak of EHV-1 broke out in horses in my area. Everything is on hold until it goes away. I can't risk my horse’s health.

LOL, Lori! I can just picture your little chihuahua glaring at your lab, and him backing away, in fear of his life. LOL!
My yorkie attacked a rottweiller a few years back. I was walking her, and a friendly rottie came over, wagging his tail - so I reached down, let him smell my hand, and then patted him on the top of his head.
Lindy LUNGED FOR HIS THROAT, ALL TEETH BARED, AND FROTHING AT THE MOUTH!
Scared me to death! (Of course she only hit his right front knee, being all of 5 lbs.) I used the leash to fling her ten feet away from the rottie, and screamed “NO”!!!!
The rottie only flinched, and looked at me like he was saying, “What was THAT?” LOL!
