"Zsa Zsa was a fine looking woman in her day!"Hi, Bn! Yes, wasn't she? Sophia Loren was, too, (and still is a very attractive lady (and at 75), don'cha think?)

I certainly will pray for baby Brooks. I hope you will keep us posted! God Bless!!!
To: MEG33
Oh, Meg, I am so sorry. Could you possibly post the original post, telling us about Brooks? (For any that might have missed it, and want to pray?)
May the Healing Hands of Jesus reach out and touch dear little Baby Brooks, and surround him with healing abundance! Amen.
Thank you, Meg! Rest well, my friend. May Angels surround you with their wings, give you comfort and peace and a pain free night. May you be sprinkled with an abundance of “Angel Dust” tonight, giving you a restful sleep, with sweet dreams. ((((((HUGS))))))

Thank you! Brooks was born March 7 He was due in June..Brooks
is my husband's youngest brother's grandchild.
His mom Kami wrote this update this afternoon.
"Yesterday we received some very upsetting news from the
doctor regarding Brooks's ultrasound. While the good
news is there is no new bleeding in his brain, the
areas they saw before that appeared to be damaged areas
that occured in utero were a lot more extensive or
global than they first thought. They have no way of
knowing how or why the brain was deprived of oxygen or
injured. As the doctor said, that is something only
Brooks and the placenta know. The cystic areas are in
the temporal and occicipital lobes.
What this means is the Brooks has a very high chance of
having developmental disabilities--to
what extent, no one can say until he starts growing and
maturing. However, we are optimistic and hopeful
that because an infant's brain is still developing and
has plasticity, other areas of his brain could take over
and help cover the damaged areas. We also know Brooks
is a fighter and so are we so we will do whatever it
takes. This is all part of God's plan and we have
absolute faith that Brooks is destined to do great
things in this world--we might just have to take
paths along the way that we didn't expect to or want to.
He continues to do well with his breathing and feedings and
in fact, the feedings have been increased again
today. We will continue to pray for God to nuture him
and help him grow strong. We know the power of pray so
we ask you to continue to pray with us and for us."

So sorry for your loss, TCP.
Am glad that you got those extra months.
A new doberman .... how about Nelson?
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Yorkie: I had a Cairn Terrier. They look a lot like Yorkies and are probably similiar in personalities as well. Great dogs! My Cairn thought he was a Great Dane though. Wasn’t scared of anything.

Far Better
God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. Revelation 21:4
Having suffered greatlyfirst from cancer, and then from the grueling medical regimenpastor Dan Cummings was tired. After 2 weeks of treatment in Texas, he was looking forward to going back home to Michigan. In a post on his blog, he wrote: Today is far better . . . amazing what some hydration will do. . . . Will fly home on the weekend to continue treatment at home.
Dan did return to Michigan, but several days later, his journey on earth ended. He went home to be with his Godwhom he loved with every bit of his weakened body but mighty spirit.
When I viewed his blog a few days later, his words Today is far better jumped out at me. I smiled through my tears in the knowledge that Dan was now experiencing a life that is truly far better (Phil. 1:23).
Someday we who claim the name of Jesus will also go to that place where there is no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. Its a place where there is no more pain and where a loving Father promises to wipe away every tear from [our] eyes (Rev. 21:4).
The life we have here isnt all there is. There is a far, far better place that Jesus is preparing for those who love Him (John 14:2-3).
When our life on earth has ended
We will feel Gods warm embrace;
There will be no pain or sorrow
In that far, far better place. Sper
Heavenno pain, no night, no death, no tears.

Meg, thank you for the update on little Brooks. We will pray longer and harder for this sweet little precious baby and I feel like you.....
This is all part of God's plan and we have absolute faith that Brooks is destined to do great things in this world--we might just have to take paths along the way that we didn't expect to or want to. We ask that God stay with this innocent one and his mommy and daddy, Kami and Glenn and strengthen them as the days go on. By the way, Brooks was born on my youngest son's birthday! AND, my neice who just visited, Braelyn was born on her oldest daughter's birthday!
I was glad to read you were feeling some better...hooray! I have another busy day ahead! This has been a busy week!
